Nice place. Clean with friendly staff. Hush puppies are fantastic! The pork and chicken are great.

This establishment is know for the BBQ food truck. We walked in and received a menu. The ambience is great. I ordered 1/2 rack of ribs with 2 sides $18. The burger was $15 and over cooked. The sampler tray for $28 may have been a cup of Chicken, brisket and pulled pork. Just not enough for $28. The ribs from a scale of 1-10 according to boys and wife was given a 5. The ribs were not bad but not something I want to have a 2nd shot at. The trays the food came on were literally the same ones you receive in public school for lunch. Portion controlled trays. The 2 sides were very small. Over all we paid $106 for a family of 6 and 2 are small children. We will see if we go back.

Take out order for lunch on 6/11/22. 1 Brisket sandwich and 1 Pulled Pork sandwich.Brisket was dried out. Pulled Pork also dried out. Not good at all.What a disappointment and waste of $23.00

Nope! I felt like the food was warm and not hot, it didn’t taste like a smoker, but more like microwaved food. The mac & cheese had no flavor, neither did the string beans and it was served in Styrofoam plates. The price did not match the quality of food. Brisket was pure salt. Sorry. The workers were very pleasant!

Very sweet staff, food was amazing and for a BBQ place this is the best burger I ever had. ? love the meat sampler very tasty and absolutely love their sauces. You gotta go. Down side: Only open thurs fri sat sun. But worth the wait.

My boyfriend and I love all things barbecue but when I tell you we could not even finish a 1/4 of our meal because of how ungodly salty the meat was, it truly was that bad. It tasted like table salt so badly you’d chug half a water bottle after one bite. The mac and cheese also tasted like table salt BUT THEN the green beans and collard greens had absolutely NO SALT on them or seasonings. It was almost comical how bad the food was. Hopefully we caught them on a bad day but I surely will not be returning due to the fact we are now at risk for high blood pressure ?

NO. NO. NO. Don't do this to yourself. I had high hopes for the food here. The prices were a little higher. I assumed you received large portions of great BBQ. The food came in small portions on cheap styrofoam plates. The food was not good at best mediocre (think Pulled Pork, Coleslaw and Macaroni and Cheese made for senoirs in a nursing home or a hospital). I don't know what they did to the Hush Puppies, I think they my have microwaved them, they had no crunch and were mushy. I'm totally disappointed in the food and hope... I don't know what to say to end on a positive note... Local Smoke BBQ is 4 minutes from here, it has much better food.

This place puts bbq to shame. The bbq sauce is literally ketchup and the pulled pork taste like they dumped apple cider vinegar all over it. Hush puppies were bland. Threw 95% of my food away. Mac and cheese came out ice cold. Do not recommend. My burger was the only saving grace but that didn't save the $30 of food I paid for and more then half tasted meh. Unfortunately I won't be coming back.

For me it was ok. Fried okra was good

Store location won’t make food 30 minutes before closing which is a poor business practice. There’s nothing else in this area, and most quick service food places and restaurants cook food until the store closing. It’s not like they close at 9…store closes at 7 and we were turned away at 6:30. I hate this food, and I think it’s crap regardless. I really wanted to give it another try but apparently it’s all around garbage.

7-17-21( Military) poor customer serviceCame in today with some other military folks in Uniform and order my food only 2nd after one other person. I asked the young blonde lady what part of NC shes from since im from NC and she responded abruptly I dont know guessing she was referring to the owners and i was just like okay(very awk like i offended her in a NC bbq restaurant) and i waited nearly 30 mins to be served even after a family walked in after me 5 mins later they were served before me ... it was so awkward that some of my military colleagues said whats going on and the young blonde lady responded that the orders got mixed up the only difference between myself and everyone else was that i was the only African American at the establishment it was very strange awk and out of place .The food was goodworthy that is the pulled bbq chickenhush puppiesMac and cheese ⭐️ was a disgrace SKIP IT 0 Stars threw it out bc it tasted like noodles and half a gallon of salt i know you guys can do better! you got it!i dont know if i will return though i felt very unwelcomed :|not to mention i was not offered a military discount very interesting the owner is getting back with customers that had a positive experience and not me at all.

I was blown away by this place. First off, I was greeted by a warm and friendly woman at the counter. She thanked me for my service, which made me feel very comfortable. I asked what she recommended and she said she really liked the BBQ Mac Fries with Brisket, which is what I ordered. She even offered me a 10% discount for military. I didn't have to wait long for my food, and it was brought right to my table with a smile. The portion size was amazing, and the taste was even better. The cheese sauce was out of this world. The brisket was tender and juicy. I couldn't even finish it all, so I took a to go container home. The restaurant was extremely clean and the staff seemed so happy behind the counter, joking and laughing. I will be back every week!
