They do have good stuff, for sure. I just wish sometimes people working there would know what they’re selling. I asked about the differences between 3 different terrines/cold meatloafs that they were selling and they wouldn’t know. Was not the first time. It’s just disappointing that they don’t bother to educate themselves about their own products.
I used to go here as a little kid when it was Barth’s Pork Store. Now it’s a market. The bratwurst is excellent fresh out of the case. This past weekend I purchased some burgers. I wanted grass fed and bacon cheddar. The butcher recommended Peter Luger burgers with scallions and Peter Luger bbq sauce in them. I told him I’m not a fan of scallions but I’ll try them. He was right. They were game changers. If you’re hesitant about these don’t be. Get them. They are fabulous....
Thank you so much for catering our party on Saturday. The food was amazing, everyone raved about it. The team you sent to support us was outstanding. There was not a thing I had to do. They were so proactive on set up, serving and clean up. Truly so happy! Thank you.
