Providence Bar & Kitchen

Family of four dined at Providence Bar and Kitchen. We sat on deck which was a beautiful night to do so. Food comments from the family was good. Drinks were ok...hvae had better and have had worst. Service is good but kitchen may have been backed up as it took a little longer for entrees to arrive. We'll come back as menu has good variety and worth trying again.

Friendly and excellent staff. Owner provided help in wine selection. Interesting menu with lots we would have liked. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Very nice restaurant in downtown New Providence, ample parking and the covered heated patio was great. Homemade pasta's with excellent cocktails make this place worth a visit.

The restaurant is a great spot to go with friends and family! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for enjoying good times together. On top of that, the menu is fantastic, offering delicious options for everyone.

I will never book a reservations in winter months again! Despite making a reservation, they didn't have a regular table for us inside and offered us seating in the patio where the heaters were on but the back door was broken so I was freezing while eating - never even removed my winter jacket! I can't believe they offered seating in the patio when the back door was broken and people had to manually close the door tight! That's no way to have a meal!

New Providence Bar and Kitchen was the perfect place for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary. We came for lunch and immediately the staff made us feel very welcome. The menu, from the drinks to the entrees, put a fun spin on familiar dishes—just enough to be unique without deviating too much from traditional favorites. The calamari appetizer with chili peppers and capers was the best I’ve ever had— flavors were amazing. The Parmesan-crusted salmon was also tasty and my wife loved her meal too. A wonderful experience!

Enrique was a wonderful waiter . The service was impeccable . The food was done to perfection . Before leaving we set up a second reservation for next month.

My husband brought me there for my birthday dinner - it was excellent. The food quality was great - and when I wasn't sure what to order the waiter gave great recommendations (our favorite items were the calamari and the saffron risotto with prawns). The service was great too - attentive without being too much so. Admittedly they forgot that it was my birthday, but the overall experience was great so we didn't care - we are definitely coming back.

The staff was were all very friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. They were also very accommodating and able to make a kids sized portion of an entree for our daughter.

Worst service ever experienced. Food was greasy and meat was not cooked correctly, sent back and received the same. No one checked on us, not even to offer drinks. The management could not care less that we had a bad experience. They will not see us again
