Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

The place is super nice. The employees are very friendly. Their Italian ice is super fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!

We visited Rita’s yesterday in North Arlington for the first time, and unfortunately it will also be our last. My 4-year-old needed to use the restroom, and despite us being paying customers, the staff at the counter refused to let him. They explained it was for employees only. While I can understand having a policy, I feel exceptions should be made in certain situations especially when it comes to young children.

Gaby P was extremely unprofessional. She was at the register talking to her friends and taking selfies instead of taking orders. The other employee was the only one actually working. This happened on 8/7/25 around 7:55pm. Extremely rude and won’t come back.

Ordered a large cup of frozen yogurt with sprinkles.......cup was filled one third of the way with a tiny amount of sprinkle's. Realy!???

The Swedish fish gelati was great. Andrea was a great cashier and she was very patient with taking my order. Overall 10/10 customer service, Italian ice, and ice cream

I don't know why but I haven't been to Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard in such a long time; it's in my town too. Everything I've had over the years has always tasted fantastic. I'll come around a lot more, it is great.

Parking: I seriously wanted a Gelati, and it was delicious. I don't enjoy that there is no proper seating. Just benches with no backs. You can use the barrier poles as a seat backs though. People nearly got into accidents due to the parking lot of the location. Which made me anxious as heck.

We have visited many different ritas locations, but this one particularly is not the best one. We order 5 different items. The Italian ices tasted like water down ice flavor, gelatis tasted like butter, and nothing had the right amount of flavor. The customer service was great, but the need to work on their flavors and frozen custard.
