Food is really bland and expensive. Steak is great but overly seasoned, steak comes with potatoes but they’re also bland asf. Dont ever order the mash potatoes, they are bland. Everything is super bland. One pint of beer is ten dollars- super expensive there’s no happy hour which is not great. Not ideal for a date night or a lunch but if you have the money to spend definitely order a burger or a steak. I worked there for a year and a half, the general manager was a great guy but often he would become resentful. I was a manger for him, I followed all his orders and even did the social media for the restaurant for free which is usually a $10,000 job for six months for companies and business and the general manger decided to fire me on the first of the new year. I thought we had a great relationship but his decision blinded sided me. Never got a raise or extra for all the ridiculous task he would give but it is what it is. At that restaurant you can go above and beyond for some people and it will never be enough for them! Thanks for the experience! But the crew is really hard working and great people- they offer such great service!

Too quiet for me at dinner hour...not too many customers. Brother and I ordered the prime rib that was the special for the night. Cooked too well for our liking but did not fuss we were too hungry. The portions of garlic mashed were generous and they worked. The dining area was not welcoming...I needed it cleaner, odor ? Lighting? I wouldn't go back.

So wat do you do when one of your favorite restaurants goes down the toilet? After 46 years of going to Arthur. s, we went last Saturday to celebrate. The food I ordered as well as my husbands came out barely warm enough to eat. My garlic mashed was missing salt and garlic i mean 0 gatlic. My broccoli was well cooked, but cold. My new Bedford scroll fish ( which is why I go there) was sooooo over salted I couldn't eat it. My husband steak was charred on the outside and so cold the oat of butter did not melt. 32 dollarscfor after dinner coffee. Waiter n all staff wr dealt with spoke no English, so bringing this to their attention was fruitless. Sorry Arthurs , your restaurant like many others since Covid, the quality and service is for shame. Won't be back after all these years

When you walk in and see darkness and no one at the hostess desk. That’s a sign. We were greeted from a person coming in from the darkness. He greeted us and walked us to the bar/restaurant part of this establishment. We saw one person at the bar waiting for his takeout order. The place was cold and quiet. Occasionally a song would play and go quiet again. Suddenly a few minutes later another song and a long pause. We enjoyed this place and its many other locations which have closed already. The decor hasn’t changed; musty smell, dark, ragged carpets, outdated wood wall paneling were some of the noticeable decor. We were going to order its once famous steaks but decided to play it safe and order cheeseburgers and Pepsi.

It took awhile and burgers came out. Didn’t look like I remember. Btw, you pay for extras like lettuce, tomatoes, onions and fries. Taste was just average and fries bland. Pepsi had an unusual taste. Bill was under $48.

This place needs a total makeover and gut everything and bring back its Glory Days.

I had high hopes for Arthur’s Steakhouse, but my experience was terrible from start to finish. When I arrived to pick up my order, the restaurant was completely empty—not a single customer or staff member in sight. I stood there for several minutes, unsure of what to do, and finally had to call their phone number twice just to get someone to show up at the front desk.

The food was even worse. The steak and sides were utterly flavorless and drowning in grease, making them almost impossible to eat. And don’t even get me started on the French onion soup—it had the consistency of mucus and was just as unappetizing as it sounds. It was honestly one of the worst things I’ve ever been served.

For a place that markets itself as a steakhouse, this was a complete disaster. Between the poor service and the inedible food, I’ll never return and strongly recommend others avoid it as well.

There were 3 tables and 1 person at the bar. I still waited almost 10 minutes to be seated. Service was sub par at best. Beer tasted stale. Server didn't know the menu or what came with the meal. Prime rib was ordered medium rare. Came out medium well. Dry and salty. Server vanished so I ate most of it. Once she came back I showed her how overcooked it was. She just said she would let them know

I honestly hate leaving a 3 star review here. I have been coming here for 15+ years. The food is always and has always been top notch and that has never changed. Still a fantastic steak at an unbeatable price.

The inside of Arthur's is sad and run down. There are holes in the carpets, scuffs all over the walls. Just generally terrible. I don't understand why they stay open and don't make any attempt to make it any nicer. It's off-putting enough that it makes you not want to eat here.

Staff is mostly untrained and uneducated during the week at no fault of their own. During the week you don't see more then 3-4 people inside. The staff just doesn't get the chance to have any experience.

I genuinely hope whoever owns this puts in the money to bring it back to the great steakhouse it was for so many years

You’d never expect this place to have good food, place looks like an abandoned building from call of duty modern warfare but whips up a banging burger! Spirt Halloween been dying for this place to go down but I guess the locals keep this place breathing ?? had burger and chicken parm from here , very good !

Wine by the small glass 9 dollars no bottle wine no crafts what happen to Arthur's bar menu. Steak is the same good. May not go back again sad

Worst level of service and meal. Asked for a well done steak as part of a larger pickup order for my pregnant girlfriend. Not only was the steak not well done it was cooked rare. When discovering this, called to let them know and told me I have to drive back to them to make them believe that my order was cooked wrong. My order total came to be slightly over $100 and this is how the service comes along with the undercooked food.

Offered no alternative or extra meals or coupons or nothing for a solution resulting in me traveling twice to their location for their mistake.

Will avoid forever and tell everyone not to support these types of establishments that do not care for the customers. Long horn steakhouse or any other steak house as long it’s not here in North Brunswick.

This place used to be the place to go, and now it just sucks. So disappointed in the food. The steaks are way over priced and they came out tasting and smelling like chemicals! The manager denied it, and would not even give us discount. 2 out of the 5 steaks ordered were not edible, so the other people eating the steaks were afraid to eat and definitely did not enjoy the meal. For the safety of people and Arthur’s legacy close this place down. Servers were good, but manager need's to go! I would have had some respect if he admitted it , but he denied and would not take responsibility for it. Smh! Stay away from this place !!!!!!!

Shut this place down!!
While the service of Nick and his trainee were great, the kitchen is serving rotten steaks that smell like Clorox and denying it. Carlos, the manager, denied this fact and refused to knock the two rotten steaks off our bill. Unfortunately, we didn't know this had been a problem with other customers as we have been frequent customers in the past that celebrated special occasions here as we did this week. Had we known, we would have picked a different location.
