The guys here make a wonderful bagel. I look forward to hosting family gatherings where guests stay overnight because I know in the AM, I will be picking up loads of bagels from Bagel 1. Everyone loves them, and those that come from far, take some home with them. They blow the doors off of the spots East Brunswick offers. Favorite place in the area by farrrrr!!!!! The food is really good. I got breakfast and lunch today, both were very good. I ordered pork roll and cheese on an egg bagel, very good. This is the only place where I say I like the pork roll overcooked and they actually do it for me. Also, Turkey and cheese sub,can't go wrong. Well, you can, but they didn't lol.
Love this place! The bagels are always tasty and super fresh. Try the chicken salad either alone or on a Keiser roll. Everything I've tried there has been good and the guys are really friendly. I just went there today! Highly recommend!
