Bad service. Worst experience with this restaurant.

Worst restaurant. Poor service and bad food. I’ve tried to order for someone 4–5 times, and they never provide a spoon, even after mentioning it on the call. The food quality is also terrible this time.
I had a really disappointing experience at Honest Restaurant. I ordered the Bahubali Sandwich, expecting something flavorful and filling, but it turned out to be a complete letdown. The sandwich was soggy, lacked taste, and the ingredients didn’t seem fresh at all. For the price they charge, I expected much better quality and presentation.
The bread was cold, the cheese barely melted, and the chutneys tasted off nothing like the vibrant flavors Honest is usually known for. Honestly, it felt like the sandwich had been sitting out for a while before being served.

Since it's called Honest, my review might as well be honest; so buckle up... If you're marketing yourself as the quintessential restaurant for pav bhaji and pulav then they better be leagues above the competition. And guess what? They were not good! Infact pav bhaji was dead bland and tasted of haldi, I think even a toddler maybe saying wow... this needs way more spices. Pulav was exactly the opposite; it burned your tongue off. Only saving grace was the manchow soup which was half decent but again nothing to rave about.
Considering that they charge $12.99 for meager portions of pav bhaji which is horrible tasting, it's much much much better idea to try out other restaurants in the area which actually serve proper bhaji. Throughly disappointed.
Now the service... there is no service which is shocking because the restaurant was empty! At this point I might as well go to the counter and pick up my food... why even pay a tip? Generally speaking Indian restaurants have terrible service, but this one was severely lacking.
Ambience is okay and you can get by.
Once again, if you're paying these abhorrent prices for meager quantities and subpar quality, why even go there? I guess, I understand now why they were empty on a Saturday.

Ordered food via Grubhub. Food tasted substandard quality. French fries with the sandwich were disgusting, tasted like old fries that are refried. Horrible. Also the Pavbhaji was full of onions when my order had specific mention of no onions and garlic. Pathetic. Never will order food from Honest.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Honest Restaurant at North Brunswick with my family & friends and I can confidently say it was one of the best Indian food experiences.
The menu offers a fantastic variety of dishes, from traditional favorites to innovative twists on classic recipes. We started with the soup, Jinnie dosa, which were perfect. For the main course, we opted for the Hakka noodles, vegetables biriyani, paneer & naan and it was awesome.
What truly sets Honest at North Brunswick apart, though, is the attention to detail in the flavors. Each dish felt thoughtfully crafted, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and the perfect balance of spices. The staff were incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, offering helpful recommendations and ensuring our dining experience was seamless.
Overall, we highly recommend Honest Restaurant at North Brunswick. Whether you're a longtime lover of Indian cuisine or new to the flavors, this restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience that’s sure to impress. I’ll definitely be returning soon to explore more of their menu!

Did not take our order for 15 minutes even though we were the only customers there. She gave us menus and did not return to the front.
