Food is great, and enjoy coming back here often. The employees however make it feel like they are inconvenienced by having customers. I have never seen this restaurant packed but they act as if they are bothered by having paying customers. Most recently, the store had no operating hours displayed on the window and the workers made customers wait outside in the rain for ten minutes until they opened.
Best to come for their great food when they have time to deal with you.

extremely generous portions and fresh ingredients at Hummus Republic. honestly i always get the same thing but it never disappoints - lemon chicken is tasty and the garlic jalapeño tahini is a little spicy so it’s a nice touch. the bowl is huge and stuffed to the brim every time - it lasts me for basically two meals and it’s affordable considering how much food you get (about $15 depending if you add any extras). they also have self-service lemonade - the pomegranate and mango lemonade mix is delicious!

As others mentioned, food was really good but the cous cous ruined the bowl for me. The cous cous was very dry and lacked flavor. However, veggies were fresh, the falafel was crispy, and the sauces were tasty. Mango lemonade was ok. First time trying and I would go back with hopes that the cous cous has been fixed.

The food here is delicious! The roasted eggplant was my favorite, and the portions are generous—even the kids’ meals are quite big. The hummus with pita chips was excellent, and we had fun trying the different lemonade flavors. The only downside was that the beef and lamb shawarma tasted a bit too salty. Overall, the staff were very friendly and patient, taking the time to explain the ingredients and answer all our questions.
