The food was very tasty. Deep did a great job of service! Enjoyed the ambience also.

The food was fantastic and very tasty. We ordered unlimited kathiyawadi thalis. The service was quick and the food they brought was always fresh and hot. They also have unlimited chaas(buttermilk) along with thalis. We got full authentic kathiyawadi vibes. We tried so many kathiyawadi restaurants in New Jersey, but this was best so far. Definitely visiting again.

My kid asked Punjabi thali they said no Punjabi thali available
Myself took Gujarati thali and in Gujarati thali Gujarati dal is without tadka ,no test in subzi
My husband took Khatiyawadi thali there is also no test what they mentioned in menu garlic Chutney, chaas sambharo and all but chaas is not there
I never suggested to anyone go there
I gave e my Gujarati thali back

Authentic and flavorful Kathiyawadi food! Loved the Bajra Rotla, Lasaniya Bataka, and Sev Tameta—spicy, delicious, and true to traditional taste. The ambiance gives a nice village vibe, and the service is friendly. Great place for a hearty Gujarati meal!

Fantastic Food and Friendly Service!

The experience at New Kathiyawadi Dhaba was truly wonderful. The food was absolutely delicious—authentic and flavorful, like homemade Kathiyawadi cuisine. The Kathiyawadi Thali was a perfect introduction to their specialties, and every dish was bursting with fresh, traditional flavors.
Beyond the fantastic food, the service received from Mika was exceptional. Mika was friendly and attentive, ensuring all needs were met throughout the meal. Mika's hospitality enhanced the welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant.
New Kathiyawadi Dhaba is highly recommended for those craving authentic Kathiyawadi vegetarian food. The combination of incredible food and excellent service, especially from Mika, makes this a must-visit!

Ambience - pretty average. Your everyday folk kitchen with the umbrellas.

Used to go here quite often, hence took a group of 15 for lunch, but turns out they do not have the operating ability to cater to such a crowd.

They have their good days, but looks like we ended up going on one of the bad ones.

Really bad experience with service and timings. They run this place without bothering to have anyone be present at the register. We had to wait for about 15 minutes and then knock the kitchen door for someone to show up. The taste is just absurd nowadays and not worth the money or wait. Would not be visiting ever again.

The food was absolutely delicious - we couldn’t stop eating! Raj and Akshay went out of their way to ensure we experienced truly authentic Gujarati cuisine. We tried both the Irate and Kathiawadi thalis, each packed with 8–10 beautifully prepared dishes.

They even treated us to additional servings of aam ras and sukkadi, which were a delight. The rotla and roti tasted just like homemade, bringing back fond memories.

To top it all off, they offer freshly made paan at the counter - a perfect way to end the meal. Highly recommended if you’re craving genuine Kathiawadi flavors!

Food was tasty. Service is spotty considering the vegetable and other servings are chutney sized and the guy shows up every 5 minutes to ask what one needs. Each serving size is so small it is only good for a couple of bites of roti.
