Buffet was extensive. Great choice. All the staff were doing the best to keep everything refilled and warm. I was a bit apprehensive about the reviews I had read before going there, but was pleasantly surprised with what they had to offer. It was great value for money. The only downside was that the ambiance was not that great! A special shout out to Raj for special attention he gave to our group of 10 friends. It was special to start the new year with our friends. Thank you, Raj

If you want authentic south Indian food look no further. Mirchi is amazing and food is best. We are a 8 member party tried the buffet. Every one of is immensely enjoyed the food.

Horrible place, I placed an order online on their website, only to arrive at the restaurant to pick up my order and find out they were closed. Then why was I able to place an order online. That’s not my fault. They should have closed their online order if the kitchen was closed. I called several times, was promised a refund because I was charged for food I never received. Four months later, still waiting, still fighting with my bank.

It was pretty pricey though. 9/10Service: The service was normal. 7/10Ambiance: It was pretty crowded and loud. They had other tables throughout the restaurant, but they were only seating people in a really small part and closed off the other parts so it felt like we were all squished together. 6/10

Worst experience! We visited family in jersey! Bad decision to come here for lunch with family ! No customer service, barely any dishes available! Order made wrong - this was when it was only us being served at the restaurant!! Imagine it being busy ! Many things that didn’t seem right. For example for samosa order - the server asked us if we need chutney to go with it, I mean I think so !!! It would be nice to get what I’m paying for in full !??? The server was very off and weird ! Overall just not a place I would recommend to any one !

Not recommend for buffet- waste of moneyGot a text message that buffet has 60+ items.After I reach the location (North Brunswick) there were less than 20 items.I asked the server that the message states 60 plus items, he stated "oh thats in Edison not here". I should have walked out at this time, but me and my wife were super hungry and we went a head with the buffet.My wife is vegetarian - and we only had 2-3 options for veg. After trying those it was super bad. Paneer butter masala was so sour as if its been kept for days.Food was cold. Every item you take you will be like oh this is not good let me take another one. None of the items were good, not even average.We called out for Naan multiple times and the server said he is getting in few. After 5 plus minutes he got 1 naan (cut into 4) and since other tables were also waiting for it by the time I got up from my seat it was gone and when I asked the server for naan he reacted in a way "oh is it finished already let me get some more". Same thing happened again and we couldn't help but had to leave.I explained the issue to the counter guy and he smiled and said "oh sorry no hindi". I told him in English and he was like " hmm ok". no apology no eagerness to help nothing. On top of it they charged me 49$ for 2 buffet which we didn't even eat. Waste of money and time. Lesson learned. Will never visit or recommend anyoneFood is not good, service is bad.I wish there was a negative rating option.

Zero for ambience, presentation and cleanliness.Request to the owner and chef - “if you are not passionate about what you do, please don’t and stop spoiling the brand name”.Had been to Sankranti lunch buffet and experienced one of the worst buffets. Idlis were in light brown in color and was hard as rubber. Dishes were not refilled in time, non veg and vegetarian spatulas were mixed and the worst was Sweet Pongal. My wife and I were so excited to have sweet pongal but as soon as she tasted it she started coughing and then I made out that it had campfire/Karpooram in it. Not sure why chef had dumped one entire box in it, with an intention to kill people or cause harm, don’t know, but it was the worst experience.Luckily the reception boys were sweet, acknowledged the mistake, gave us $5 discount on each and then allowed to take few Kajayas/desert.Will never visit this place again.

I like this place , food has always been delicious and hot . I have never had the buffet so I can’t tell you if it’s good or not but my husband and I take out often because he works next door . Their hours are weird but I think because of the lunch buffet they prioritize that in the afternoons which doesn’t bother me .

The FOOD is okay, not good, not bad, just okay. But I don't think the place is long for this world.... Why ? Cause the guy taking orders for TAKEOUT insisted I leave a tip. (!) For whom? A failing business? Very strange setup. Not a single patron there. VERY bizzare - like a foreigner's imaginary idea of a resturant. A foreign hypothetical American market type of insane nuttiness. All commercial real esate agents should mark this location as a future, cause it's not gonna be around much longer - there's too much else around.I would (and everybody listening def will) would just go to Chick-fil-A next door for takeout - no big deal. The immigrant need to learn how to fail/burn and this is a test site for business self-iImplosion in 2023..
