I went here for some pasteurized for my boyfriend's birthday/Valentine's Day. He's a stickler when it comes to cannolis and elephant ears but loved both of them! The girl at the counter was super helpful, the prices were great, and there was pretty decent variety (including some savory foods as well!) Giving 4 stars because the lemon coconut cake was drier than I thought it'd be, and same thing with the lemon pound cake. But the flavor was good!

Happy to have a little slice of Brooklyn heaven in NorthBrunswick! Everything is fresh and delicious. Can't go wrong. They even have empanadas, which are delicious! Beautiful Italian bakery!! Just the smell of the place when you walk in is to die for

I order 8 jelly donuts I ask for them to be powered not sugar they sent sugar not what I ask for as they looked good I couldn't eat them gave them away

So far I only tried the rye bread and rolls. Both were delicious, crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. Will likely order again and try something sweet.

This is a very good bakery in an area completely devoid of good bakeries. The breads are very good, especially the stuffed breads. There is a large variety of pastries, cookies and cakes and they are tasty. The Black & White cookie stood out to me, its huge and very good, probably the best Black & White I've had. This has become a regular stop for me. It does get busy and the staff is great, just keep in mind you may have to wait a little.

Scala Italian Bakery, although small in terms of square footage, is huge in selection and quality! Incredible Italian Pastry Shop Bakery. Great bread and cakes for any occasion! Amazing donuts on the weekends. Perfect Cannolis! Their donuts are great! Last of the independent Bakeries, good selection of items and reasonably priced. Flan is great and great selection of butter cookies.
Delicious bakery. I'm usually buying for to bring to a party or gathering. The food never disappoints. I always get compliments. They typically have a great selection. The only 'negative' are the lines before a holiday. However that also tells you others feel the same.

Today I bought a cake with butter cream, it was extremely horrible, I called to make an exchange, they told me I could go to the store and they would exchange it for me. When I got to the store I couldn't change the cake, it was 28 dollars in the trash. I do not recommend this
