Very poor service the service at the Starbucks inside target in North Brunswick has gone downhill. I wish I would’ve gotten their names. It was on Friday, December 5, 2025 2 pm A tall man heavyset with a hat on an African-American and a skinny woman with glitter on her face with braids. All three of them were standing around talking to each other taking their time when it came my time to go up and get my drink. I thanked the tall man that gave it to me and he turned his back to me and didn’t even say you’re welcome as I was walking away. I heard them make fun of my name. They are racist. I will never ever go back to the Starbucks inside target in North Brunswick, horrible service and from what I can see from the comments here a lot of people saying that the service is going downhill

Poor Service Experience at North Brunswick Target Starbucks
On Saturday, I visited the Starbucks inside the North Brunswick Target. While placing my order for a Grande mango flavored Green Tea Lemonade Sweetened * with mango flavor, the cashier and barista were engaged in a casual personal conversation, I bet about a trip to the Dominican Republicwhich I believe led to my order being misunderstood Instead of the drink I ordered, I was handed a Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade.
When I politely explained that I had not ordered anything with dragonfruit and requested the correct drink, the barista, KRISTINIA * , initially told me to keep the incorrect drink and that she would remake it. However, she then made comments to her coworker about me, and when I clarified my order again, she became loud and argumentative in front of other customers.
This made me feel humiliated and uncomfortable. A simple correction of the drink would have resolved the situation, but instead I was treated unprofessionally and made to feel as though I didn’t know what I was ordering — even though I regularly order this drink. Ultimately, I had to request a refund rather than receive the drink I originally ordered.
Mistakes happen, and I fully understand that drinks can be made incorrectly. However, I believe customers should be treated with courtesy and respect, and that did not happen during my visit. This experience was disappointing enough that I will not return to this location.
I wanted to bring this to your attention so you’re aware of how customers are being treated at the North Brunswick Target Starbucks.

I don’t know what is wrong with the employees here, but this has been happening since my last two visits. I always come to this location and order my favorite coffee, but the employees find the combination I order funny and always laugh at me. Over the last two visits, I also noticed that the staff has been very rude, especially the young girl at the counter. This used to be my favorite Starbucks for years, and it’s close to my place, but I will never go there again. Worst experience ever.

I really enjoyed my visit here. The coffee was absolutely delicious, full of rich flavor. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and always ready to help with a warm smile. Their service made the experience even better. I’d definitely love to come back again!

worst to wort service i have ever seen. when i got down there was one curly hair dark skin hispanic girl very bad attitude like you came here to get a free coffee. no greetings at all. no welcoming. mumbling something in spanish. very hard to believe that kind of people really can have front desk job. I felt like why i came here ? i don't surprise when i do see bunch of bad service review😀 and they don't respond to any negative reviews.

Trevor and Landon made my Starbucks experience so special. They were so funny and charismatic, their costumer service was amazing and they made my matcha latte just how the way I love it. Definitely will be coming back! These guys deserve a raise!!

I’m honestly disappointed every time I come to this Starbucks. The place is dirty, the employees are either overly nice but painfully slow, or just outright rude and still slow. It’s frustrating because the service is consistently bad, and I wouldn’t recommend getting anything here.
The only reason I even stop by is because it’s right here and there’s no other Starbucks nearby. If I had another option close, I wouldn’t step foot in this location again. I’d much rather drive further down the road for better service and a clean, welcoming environment. This place seriously needs new management or a serious wake-up call.

This is not a good place Service was crap. No greeting and the person who just came on shift was pissed apparently as they were complaining that they were working for 2 hours straight. Wow.
So there was no customer service at all I asked and paid for strawberry açaí without lemonade I got watered down drink that tasted just like water. With little strawberries in them. I asked afterwards and she said that’s how it is. I told her that I drink this all the time and I know how it should be tasting. But alas it was for naught
This is what happens when you hire young people who don’t want to work but just get paid and have no training in customer service
