I have ordered Diwali Faral from Suma foods for 5 years in a row now. I was happy to have found this service which made nostalgia sparking Faral and I was willing to pay whatever they asked for it. Last year they sent out an email about the change in management/ ownership. They promised no changes in taste and quality. However, this year's Faral was a total disappointment. The Rava Besan laadu used to be amazing, this time it tasted like the rava and besan weren't roasted well. The chakli didn't taste the same. The karanji option offered was only fresh coconut version and wasn't great, it smelled funky which is a common pitfall when it is fresh coconut (they offered the traditional dry coconut version before which was amazing). The biggest disappointment was Chivda which was downright inedible because it was unarguably too salty. Why they did not taste it before packing I don't know!! I hate to give it 2 stars because I used to love it before the management change. But the low rating might get their attention and I hope they take it as constructive feedback and make some changes. We appreciate the service you offer but serving inedible salty food is just not right. Please work on improving the quality and we'll be happy to order the Faral again next year. 🤞

Really had bod experience with them. I was so looking forward to Diwali Faral from them. By mistake they sent me someone's order (less items and not what I paid or needed). I reported them by call and emails multiple times. No response at all. I understand the human error in packaging but you are not willing to acknowledge and fix it definitely ruined everything 😡. Whenever I called I was told my order is processing, they are sending my order etc but nothing in email or confirmation of the them. I want my money back asap if you are reading this review.

Absolutely don’t recommend for online order. It was poorly packaged and leaked all over with some oil etc. I had sent pics and tried to get a response but no one apparently cares. Very rude and no customer service whatsoever! My first and last time online order from here.

Fantastic tasty food. Ganapati murti and visarjan aayojan is great. Modak and related foods are good. The service is nice. Their Marathi food is awesome. Best batata vada in US.They are good cooks and generally everything is flavorful and tasty. Catering service is nice. You can go all Maharashtrian food or mix and match.
