Awesome food for those who prefer a proper South Indian (tamil nadu)biryani and dishes. The pichipota natu kozhi fry was particularly good. We tried the thalapakattu mutton Biryani and Chennai style biryani was also impressive..the masala they use for the dishes is authentic…

Thanjai Mess is simply the best—a true gem for South Indian cuisine in North Brunswick, NJ. Breakfast here centers around their exquisite sambar, and rightly so. We tried the pongal, idli, and podi dosa, and each dish paired with their signature sambar was nothing short of spectacular.
The service was fantastic, adding to an already wonderful experience. Thank you for the amazing food. God bless.

I'm a first generation Indian born in Madurai but raised and grew up in Jersey. Been to many Indian restaurants during my time here but this is the best hands down. The chicken keema with parrota is phenomenal. But everything on menu made fresh to order
Authentic South Indian delicacies!!! Luved the food! Don't think I've had better South Indian Coffee anywhere else! Keep up the quality of the food and service!!! Will be back soon!!!

The staff is warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for families and friends.The food is outstanding - great quality, generous portions, and incredibly affordable. Must-try dishes include the King Fish Fry, Chicken Biryani, Paneer 65, Manchurian, and thattu idly (a kid's favorite!).Highly recommended for both veg and non-veg options. Don't miss out on this amazing dining experience.since i know this restaurant i am going twice a week with family.

staffs are very friendly and food taste is exactly what my home food cooking.specially king fish fry and white pomplet curry and brain fry is amazing.cost wise is cheap.we enjoyed food as family.

I had ordered through uber eats. The chicken lunch thali was sooo spicy that we were not able to even eat it. I had ordered paneer butter dish for the kids assuming they can't eat the chicken but that was even worse. It was so spicy....I can tolerate spice but this was just sugar...and chili......

Had lunch with family. Loved the food. To me quantity is a key. I must say quality and quantity was great. My son who usually can’t take spice was able to eat mild. attu kaal biryani was good. Kizhi chicken parotta was just awesome. This place is economical too. Hope they can continue.
