I don't always go in this Avalon.Bagel, but I went in there today and I bought a cranberry muffin for $4 and it was stale. There's no way that they didn't know. It was stale and it wasn't like they made this cranberry Muffin, this cranberry muffin looks like it came out of Costco. I will never stop there again. Horrible and the last time I went there. And got a bacon that could cheese on a bagel again. Stale bagel 2 pieces of bacon for $14.

This place has sadly taken a dive. The new owner seems annoyed by customers. They run out of coffee often. They have changed the tuna and chicken salad recipes, not for the better. The floor is filthy.. and that's only the parts of it you can see.

It is actually kinda astonishing the level of unprofessional staff that work here. I have never in my life left a yelp review but y'all deserve this one. First 30 seconds I'm in there the two cooks in the back are literally yelling that they are going to both just walk out and quit. That they were going to call there boss say fuck you and walk out. Then the cashier lady screams back and says "you won't" and laughs. Then it takes almost 40 minutes for 2 breakfast sandwiches which I had to go retrieve because they just forgot to complete my order. Every time I come here it just gets worse and worse. I'm use the the older lady just screaming at the guys in the back. Now it's to the point where i just won't go back. For real though you guys need to know everyone in there can here you and see exactly what your doing and people notice. 0 stars

Stopped there today for a bagel and coffee, was absolutely disgusted. An employee in the kitchen coughed into her hand (ungloved), then touched food, few minutes coughed into hand again and touched food. Didn't wash her hands, went out to front and took money from register, didn't was hands and then went an touched food again. If she had touched my food I would have left it. Either needs training in food safety or a visit from the Board of Health. Will never go there again. Did not see this with the former employees. Would give it 0 stars if I could.

This is a review I don’t want to do because normally they make amazing tuna salad sandwiches. This past 7/26/23 was horrendous. The tuna itself was warm, tasted “off”, had way too much dill in it, and I absolutely hate dill. Never tasted dill in the tuna before so don’t know why the recipe suddenly changed. He also forgot to toast the bagel which is the 2nd time he did that at this location. Don’t know what that workers name is but he’s highly unprofessional and should find another job. Bad experience.
