Can't tell you about the food. The front desk hostess was so rude & nasty we never got to eat. We walked out! Why hire such a miserable girl?

A must-try for authentic Italian if you’re tired of the same old, predictable “Jersey Italian” spots.
We walked in and were immediately taken care of — service was attentive without being overbearing. The chef/owner personally took our order, made excellent recommendations, and genuinely made us feel at home.
The food was outstanding. We started with the baby artichokes and tuna crudo, both excellent. My wife had the seafood pasta with shaved bottarga, which was a real standout. I had the veal chop — perfectly executed.
Everything was impeccable from start to finish. A fantastic option in an area that could really use more restaurants like this.

Nasty people. I brought my grandmother in for dinner and they treated us very badly. They are extremely rude. Food was OK but I like pizza place in same strip mall much better and 1/4 the price. Pizza place actually had better service. Pasta is much better at the pizza place. I am sorry but I can’t endorse this place nor will I go back ever. I think the place would be better off without the heavy set woman who is vulgar and verbally violent with some customers. It’s sad. I don’t like to leave bad reviews for small businesses but this restaurant is just mediocre food, and horrendous and nasty service people.

First Time, Last Time.

The server and the food were excellent—no complaints there at all. Unfortunately, the experience was completely overshadowed by the extremely rude behavior of the manager.

I understand the pressure that comes with running a restaurant, but customer service should always be the priority. The staff looks to management for leadership, and based on this experience, that leadership is clearly lacking.

When you go out to eat, you expect the full experience, not just good food. The manager, Jackie, ruined what should have been an enjoyable evening. That was especially disappointing because I actually went out of my way to compliment the chef, who truly deserved it.

A great team deserves a great leader—sadly, that was not the case here.

DELICIOUS! This is the second time I’ve been to this restaurant and it does not disappoint. Tastes like I’m in Italy! I was in town visiting family. This is one of their favorites and I can absolutely see why. I had the carbonara which was perfection! Incredible food and top notch service.

If I could go less then 1 star I would. I have been a frequent customer of their takeout. Their chef is a good cook. But never in my life have been treated so rudely! I was screamed at, cursed at ( with children in the car), hung up on 2x and they refused to give me my food that I had ordered for a friend with a death in the family. I had to remind the owner’s daughter I was the customer a few times and tell her how rude she is. I was 15 minutes early for my pick Up and simply asked if the food was ready yet. I got screamed at and the door slammed in my face. She did surprisingly give me my money back. As I told her I’m a good customer and this is for someone with a death in family she threatened to call the police on me! All while I had 4 children watching! Despite the fact I have never really been greeted nicely there I was a pretty consistent customer of their takeout because I really didn’t have to deal with them and they have good food. But just beware if the owners daughter is a bad mood you will be treated like a dog and not get ur food.

Giuseppe is the best Italian restaurant in NJ. The service is bar none. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The owner/ chef takes the time to make sure all of his customers are satisfied. Jackie the bartender makes awesome drinks. The wait staff is led by Mike. Mike is friendly and attentive. He has always done an exceptional job when waiting on us.
Most importantly, the homemade bread pudding is unbelievably delicious.

Unbelievably wonderful restaurant from the food to the staff to the ambiance! We come here multiple times per week and everyone who joins me is beyond impressed! Can't say enough positive about Guiseppes!
