SO GREAT. found my new favorite place. You might need to speak Spanish if you Order on the phone for pick up FYI. But they had my order packed and ready to go In 15 min. And parking is available around there too. Ordered 20 bunuelos and 10 empanadas (pollo y carne) and the bunuelos were fresh out the fryer!!! Not thick skin like some places that make ahead and warm up in the oven...can't wait to go back and try their other types of pan

This is probably the cheapest place to get lunch ever. The food is great. Empanadas, sweet breads, rolls, etc are all fresh and great. The counter people are friendly, and everything is amazingly cheap. I've been going down to Plainfield for meetings and I love discovering new places. This place is phenomenal. For a small bakery, they offer so much!

I walked in midday and was the only customer there. Thank goodness! I knew I'd have a few questions figuring out what baked goods were and prices. The lady who helped me was very kind and patient. I initially thought I'd buy one item and bounced. 5 empanadas and 4 other treats later I had to stop myself. Delicious and super affordable empanadas!!! Dessert with guava filling tastes good. I will come back until I try every single treats & learn their proper name.
Words cannot express how good the bread is here. Literally so warm, the pan de bono is my guilty pleasure. It's made fresh everyday and the people that work there are always friendly, even if it's super busy. Definitely recommend a visit with a box to go to bring some bread back home for the family.

The people their are very sweet. My boyfriend is Colombian but I don't speak Spanish at all. I was scared to order but one woman there speaks amazing English. Every time I come she is there and is always helping me out! She even is trying to help me learn some vocabulary for when I order next time so I can do it in Spanish. the food is great. If you like sweets I strongly recommend this croissant looking bread. It's covered with sugar on top and either has pineapple or guava jelly filling. Sometimes they have a guava filling with cheese inside as well. Sounds weird but taste delicious.
