the food here is great and consistent! can’t say the same about the customer service but it’s to be expected with how busy they are. food can sometimes take longer than the time they provide over the phone. be aware that they are a cash only business with atm on sight. parking lot is small and can get full quick but there is street parking as well.
First time trying but maybe last time going. The brisket was very flavorful and tender, although they didn’t offer any barbecue sauce, which was weird since these type of joints offer their house signature sauce. I got the mac & cheese as a side but it that tasted like box macaroni and cheese with white cheddar cheese sauce. The banana pudding was OK, but it was only like two spoonfuls. So if you decide to go, make sure you bring your wallet with because my brisket sandwich...
I recommend this restaurant. I have been eating Portuguese BBQ my whole life and here they cook the food with more flavor than the typical Portuguese BBQ that is usually more bland. That also have a dining area. They are so busy, so the service may not be so friendly at times since the employees are very very busy but still worth getting the good food. Food is very affordable too.
