I grew up near the Chesapeake Bay and can tell you that Canal Side does crabs right. Their own seasoning blend is very good and they sell bags of it. The local crabs are just a bit smaller on average than Chesapeake crabs but that's ok, their flavor is great! 🦀

They only cook to order, very friendly and knowledgeable. Best crabs I've had in years ? would definitely recommend!!

This little place was a great experience for my whole family. Their crabs are kept in tanks (as seen in the photo) and they were fresh, full, and delicious. The owners are a lovely couple and clearly very knowledgeable. This will definitely become a regular spot for my family because of the high quality of food and ownership

Kind of Sad, they aren’t renting boats right now. ?

A great spot for years. Many memories were made with my grandfather on Mike's boats. Even though he sold his boats and is just selling equipment and crabs now I still stop by for a great conversation. Him and his wife are very genuine people. Stop by for some good food, fishing/crabbing equipment, or some info. The guy has some serious knowledge and they will make you feel at home.

Wow!!! Great Crabs and Clams!! Outside picnic tables on the Bay!! I got my Fishing Equipment Fixed, ready to GOOOO!! Owners are sooo FRIENDLY, I felt that I knew them for my whole life!! I can even pick up bait to go fishing tomorrow!! If I wake up late after the wonderful bottle of wine that they served, then I might just go to the Beach, and return for a dozen more wonderful, delicious, juicy CRABS!! DON'T WAIT!! I MAY EAT THEM ALL UP!! Thanks for a wonderful experience and evening, my friends!!! Love Trisha!!
