Okay, story time. Growing up in Southwest Philadelphia, between 65th and 66th on Woodland Ave, we used to go to a very similar seafood takeout place called Sweeney's Seafood. That was during the 60s and 70s.

I am not exaggerating when I say I have not had takeout seafood since.

My wife loved the scallops and shrimp, my fried clams (personal favorite!) were absolutely perfect, the fries amazing and, guessing it might have been Rick himself at the counter, he's a great guy.

We will be returning next year and thank you!

Rick’s Seafood House is the best option in wildwood for fresh, reasonable price seafood on the island. The crabs are well cooked, the fish and shellfish are fresh and well prepared. Strongly recommend for a family down-the-shore dinner

Long time established seafood market basic seafood at basic seafood prices. At peak summertime it will take awhile for them to make prepared food but you can walk in anytime and get some great crab shrimp or lobster

Great quality seafood. Went to this establishment on a whim and realized there is no dining in so everything you see on the menu is all takeout. There are two picnic tables outside the restaurant and some benches that can be used, we took our takeout to sunset Blvd which is not far from Rick’s. We were told the wait was 45 mins and it took a little over an hour. I cannot deny the food was good so it was worth the wait and we also gave them grace because it did seem busy and this is a smaller business. We enjoyed the meal so I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for quality seafood, just order ahead!
