Why is it so hard to find cinnamon rolls this good?

I was genuinely excited to try the cinnamon rolls at Beach Buns after hearing great things, but my experience was disappointing and honestly concerning from a food safety standpoint.
While I was in the store, I watched one of the staff members clean up a spill by tossing a rag on the floor, wiping it with his shoe as if it were a mop, then picking up the now dirty towel with his gloved hand. Immediately afterward, he went straight into the tub of icing using the SAME gloved hand, scooping out icing and smearing it all over the cinnamon rolls. Thatās an unacceptable level of hygiene in any food service setting.
I ended up not eating the cinnamon rolls I purchased because I was so disgusted by this. My wife messaged the business privately on Instagram to give them a heads-up (politely!), but the only response we got was: āOh jeez thank you for letting me know!!!ā- no apology, no indication of taking it seriously, and no assurance that this would be addressed.
Really disappointing. When it comes to food, especially something served to the public, basic sanitation and accountability matter. I wonāt be going back.

The absolute sweetest staff that go out of their way to deliver amazing service! I was in town for a short trip and mentioned to the staff I wanted to try the jalapeƱo cornbread but it was out of stock. They asked me my flight details to make me a fresh batch for me to try before my trip ended! They kept their promise and I got to enjoy the delicious jalapeƱo cornbread before my flight!

The best bakery Iāve ever been to. The food is always fresh and interesting. I have yet to order something that wasnāt perfection. Staff is also incredibly kind and helpful. I also ordered a tray for a party that was affordable and delicious!

Just picked up some sweet treats and the workers were so pleasant and helpful! They even offered the cinnamon buns for free because there was a short wait. Service, atmosphere, and taste all 10/10!!!

I really love coming to Beach Buns! The environment is always so warm and inviting, and the staff is super friendly. Itās a great place to relax, work, or catch up with friends.
That said, Iāve found that the drinks sometimes donāt quite meet my expectations. For example, I tried the strawberry matcha today, and it mostly tasted like strawberry milkāI was hoping for a stronger matcha flavor to balance it out. Iāve tried the chai latte, vanilla latte and the strawberry mocha latte and I just donāt know why but I really donāt favor the drinks at all.
Iād love to keep coming back and trying new drinks, so I hope thereās a little more consistency or adjustment in flavors. Other than that, I really enjoy the experience here and appreciate all the hard work that goes into making this place great!

The cinnamon buns are delicious and they are so nice! They have always have gluten free dessert options, but their gf cinnamon buns need to be ordered at least a day in advance. Canāt wait to try those another time ?

I pop in a few times a month to get my sweet treats and have ordered desert trays from here multiple times. I cannot explain how delicious everything always is! They took my request to make a special loaf they had months prior and are always more than willing to make you happy!
