Petrillo's Deli & Pizzeria

Love this place. Was visiting from west coast. This deli was exactly what my wife and I needed that day. Missed his name but the guy that helped us was cool. Medium was so BIG! Got a plain turkey and cheese, and a chicken parm. Then a slice of Pizza. Could not finish the Sandos.

Somehow reminds me of my grandma’s cooking, great breakfast choice only got latte and sandwiches this time. Chewy roll and flavorful ham with perfect yolky egg and cheese very soft not dripping at all.

Roast beef hero sandwich = awesome.

Probably any all sandwiches are good here. I'm gonna go for a meatball sub next time.

The roast beef I got had fresh bread, healthy portion of sliced roast beef, lettuce , tomato, mayo, cheese. Ate half a large hero, eat the rest later.

If you're in the area and feeling a deli sandwich, or even a parm, or pizza; give this place a try, I've bookmarked it for a future return visit.

My family moved to Norwood in 1999, and I only had Petrillo’s for the first time today. I can’t believe it took me 25 years to discover such a legendary sandwich shop right down the road. Devastating. The Italian combo and eggplant with mozz and roasted pepper heroes are amazing. The staff seems awesome and dedicated to making a quality Italian hero. Rare in these times.

Had to host a party of 50. They did an amazing job for us. Highly recommend them for food parties at your house.❤️?? ? Food was delicious.

Parking: Great. The staff was so kind they brought the dish trays to the car for me. Loved this place a lot.

Kid-friendliness: The chicken tenders were amazing. Meatballs, chicken cutlets, and chicken parm kids liked too. Teenagers.

Family owned and ran! Best subs and chicken cutlets. Pizza is good too and they have San Benedetto ice tea which is hard to come by these day. When I’m in town I always stop here for lunch :)

An old school authentic Italian deli run by mom, dad, and their son. The food is outstanding, I had an Italian Combo and my wife had a turkey sub, there was no skimping on the ingredients, WOW! As for the pizza ? we traveled here from Cape Cod in search of the best pizza from Rockland County NY through Bergen County NJ. We eventually landed here at Petrillos and met John and his parents working behind the counter. An old school hard-working family making traditional pizzas. We were blown away by what they had created, a super tasty combination of classic sauce and the perfect amount of cheese on a slightly crispy underbody with a soft but crisp crust. We ordered 13 pizzas that day, 10 plain,1 green pepper & onion, and 2 chicken cutlet and cherry pepper. After trying the Chicken cutlet and cherry pepper I called the next morning and ordered 3 more...wow it was awesome. Upon picking up the pizzas Sunday morning we discovered John making breakfast on the flat-top grill so my wife ordered French toast and bacon, yum! We gave this establishment a 5-star review but on a scale of 1-10 we gave our highest review 9.8 only because there has to be room for something higher, we just haven't found it yet. Keep up the good work, this will always be a stop on our road trips from the Cape. You are officially part of our food world family, La Famiglia. Thank you, from Kevin & Melanie
