The highlight at this restaurant was definitely not the woman server during our Sunday late lunch — she had the enthusiasm of someone counting down the minutes to clock out. Thankfully, the food had a much better attitude. The Caesar salad leaned a bit on the dry side, yet still managed to taste good to confuse me. I’ve been on a mission to find a proper linguine with white clam sauce, and Dimora finally delivered — garlicky, flavorful, and satisfying. The grilled salmon didn’t exactly demand an encore, but it played its part. And that “Pistachio From Italy” on the menu? Not really, but it caught our attention. 👌

Very pretty can be a bit noisy at height of evening but the food and service are always excellent. Plenty to take home for another pm.

Enjoyed this restaurant very much. Service and hospitality are a 10/10. Food was delicious. Only criticism was that the pasta was undercooked in two of our dishes and while the menu indicated risotto for one dish we ordered, it was more of a rice pilaf. The burrata was outstanding.
The place is beautiful and the staff is friendly but the food is not impressive nor delicious authentic Italian. Fly wouldn't stop buzzing.

There are a lot of italian places in the area but not all of them serve authenic italian dishes with authentic italian service. I felt like I was back in Little Italy when dining there. In addition, the restaurant has a vibe where you can choose to be as formal or relaxed as you wish, which I like.
The best restaurant ever. Order the bronzino you won’t find anything like it .
From start to finish, this was an outstanding experience. The valets went above and beyond — walking up to cars in the pouring rain with huge umbrellas to make sure guests stayed dry. Inside, the staff was just as impressive: attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming.
Of course, great service only goes so far if the food doesn’t deliver — but here, it absolutely does. Every dish and drink was just as memorable as the hospitality. When a restaurant nails both service and flavor, you know it’s something special. Highly recommend!

Food was exceptional, drinks were great, service was also friendly and top notch (although water glasses by wait staff should be removed to refill instead of drowning everyone's plated food). Unfortunately, the tables are very small for 4 people and felt very overcrowded but I understand they are trying to fit in as many patrons as possible. All in all was very good, but the noise level was almost unbearable. You literally had to scream across our tiny table to hear or be heard. We made light of it and laughed it off but I must admit I left with a sore throat from just trying to hold a conversation. Not sure I would return if only for that reason but for many it's obvious the amazing dishes supersede the discomfort of noise level.
Everything is great everytime we go. Dimora has not failed us from the moment we enter the restaurant to the minute we leave. Highly recommend the carozza for appetizer, branzino for main course, and pistachio gelato for dessert.

What a beautiful Italian dining experience at Dimora in Alpine! The atmosphere is elegant yet cozy—perfect for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends. 🕯️🍷
I started with the burrata appetizer, which was incredibly fresh and creamy, served with perfectly ripe tomatoes and a light drizzle of balsamic. For my main course, I had the shrimp scampi—perfectly cooked shrimp tossed in a light garlic white wine sauce with just the right touch of lemon and herbs. Flavorful, fresh, and beautifully plated. 🍤🍝
The staff was professional and attentive, and the overall service felt five-star from start to finish. Whether you’re local or just passing through Bergen County, this is one of the best Italian restaurants in North Jersey. A must-visit if you’re a lover of authentic Italian cuisine.
