I rarely leave reviews, but people need to know about this experience. We dined here on December 22nd, and from the start the service was chaotic! our waiter was disorganized and inattentive.
The real issue: we found a piece of PLASTIC inside one of our dishes. After that, we understandably didn’t touch the other dish. We were explicitly told by the Maître D’ that everything would be removed from our bill, yet we were still charged for the food.
Completely unacceptable from both a food safety and customer service standpoint. Very disappointing experience.

Fantastic Italian spot. Very good wine selection by the glass and bottle. $1 oyster deal on happy hour. Chicken parm was thin and super flavorful. All the pastas were delicious and complex.

Some restaurants radiate warmth the moment you step inside, and this is one of them. From the seating to the final farewell, every staff member was polite and professional. My steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, and the pasta was easily one of the best I've ever had.
Oh, and don't miss out on the cocktails! We ordered the ‘Vagabondo’ and the ‘Espresso Martini,’ and both were absolutely delicious.
Truly a place I want to revisit on a special day.

Pretty disappointed with my experience here. After finding a hair in my food, I politely mentioned it to the owner and instead of an apology or any attempt to make it right, I was met with attitude. The owner came off extremely rude and snobby, as if bringing up a hygiene issue was an inconvenience.
The food itself was mediocre at best about a 6/10. For the price point, I expected way better. If you enjoy underwhelming service and dealing with an owner who talks down to customers, then sure, give it a try. Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend coming here.

Absolutely superb on every level!
We began at the bar to enjoy 2 dozen oysters during happy hour with inspired cocktails. While doing so,we enjoyed the friendly and over accommodating bartenders.
On to the meal..tuna carpaccio, meatballs, veal parm and halibut were outstanding, accompanied by gratis bread and whipped ricotta.
Service was attentive and the atmosphere was intimate and elegant.
I have no option but to become a frequent patron as there are many items I still have yet to enjoy.
Truly memorable.

Went there for my birthday and left extremely satisfied. My husband and I got fried calamari as appetizers and the chicken parm and a pasta dish as a main. The food was amazing, so tasty. Probably the best chicken parm I’ve ever had. The drinks were pretty good as well and the service was phenomenal. If you’re thinking of trying it, please do, you won’t regret it.

Came here for a work luncheon and I will be definitely coming back to experience this delicious food again.
There is a couple of weeks waiting list for the weekends reservation and it is worth the wait.

My partner and I spent a gorgeous date night at Verana and it was everything we hoped for. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance felt intimate and welcoming — soft lighting, beautiful décor, and just the right mood for a romantic dinner.
We started with appetizers, loved the freshness and flavor of the salads and carpaccios. Then the homemade pasta and entrees — the flavors were rich and balanced, and the portions were generous without feeling heavy. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the dishes tasted creative yet comfortingly Italian.
What really stood out was the service: the staff was warm, attentive, and genuine — not rushed or pushy, just helpful and polite. That, combined with the food and atmosphere, made us feel pampered without pretension.
If you’re looking for a date-night spot that offers delicious food, cozy vibes, and consistent quality — Verana is a gem. We’ll absolutely be back.

Food, drink, and service were excellent. We tried sister restaurant couple months ago and it was great experience so decided to try Verana, was not disappointed. There's a big focus on service here, little touches. Owner even came over to chat. we're pretty picky so not afraid to call out negatives. If I had to find something to complain about, I'd say a few of the drinks could be more drink, less giant ice cube. It's a great spot- Will be back.

I don’t get the hype. Best thing we had was the bread, it’s delicious. Shrimp appetizer was cold, undercooked and covered in some butter/mayo that was congealed. Drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive. I got the famed chicken parmigiana…it comes out round like a pizza. It was fine but nothing exceptional. Tiramisu was tasteless and not sweet at all, felt like I was eating butter. We ordered after dinner drinks and halfway through dessert they never arrived. We got the check and left. Don’t think I’ll return. Very expensive and service was so so. Had to ask for salt and pepper 3 times, drinks took way too long to arrive. Their sister restaurant Mykos is terrific, spend your money there instead.

Looking for a special occasion place to celebrate a milestone? Verana is the place. My husband and I went for our 52nd wedding anniversary and it was wonderful. We had been to Del Posto in New York so we knew the food would be delicious and it was. The service was excellent and the decor and ambiance were really beautiful. Thank you Chef Giuseppe Agostino and staff! You made our anniversary very memorable.
