Stopped by for lunch on my way to a job. I’m glad I did. The pizza is delicious! Also had a nice friendly conversation with the owner while I was eating and enjoying the aroma from the wood burning oven in front.

Cafe L'Amore is THE Italian restaurant in Oakland. They consistently revise the menu and only serve the best quality food. Be sure to ask for the big pita bread, you won't regret it. Mike and Mark are the best, they are so kind and they really make you feel like family. Great for lunch or dinner, and the catering is phenomenal. Highly recommended!!

Had a wonderful dinner here tonight as usual. The veal dishes are always tender and perfectly prepared. Dishes get to the table hot which we love. Friendly owners and staff. We just love L’Amore, our “go to” restaurant.
