I wish I was lucky enough to have a deli as fantastic as JD’s local to me. I stopped in for takeout around the lunch hour and expected a long wait due to how busy it was. To my surprise, we were in and out within ten minutes! The lady taking our order was extremely friendly and efficient. It’s refreshing to see a place that can get so busy continue to serve others with quality customer service. The sandwich, The DJ, was outstanding! From the soft bread, fresh avocado, delicious mayo and the plentiful amount of turkey I was totally satisfied. Next time I’m in the area I’ll gladly order from here again.

Very sloppy cheesesteak... asked for light peppers and onions.... only to receive extra peppers and onions I threw the sandwich out after three bites it was just an absolute disaster plus there was potato chips stuck inside of the sandwich as well I never asked for any of that I think you should leave the potato chips out and ask the person who's ordering if they want them or not...

We stopped here on our way between Woodbury Commons and Costco and I’m so glad we stumbled upon it! The sandwich was absolutely delicious and jam packed with flavor. Not only that, but the staff (family run?) were all so lovely to talk to!

We’d definitely come back!

I don't think I've ever had something from JDs that I didn't like. The food is always fresh and delicious. We've used them for catering also and I was impressed with their pricing and options. Tables are always full and staff is always friendly. Quality is consistent. My favorite is constantly changing but my family loves the BLK and the patsy.

One of my favorite places to be. Anytime I come home from college, JD’s is my first stop. I love walking in and seeing the smiling faces of the staff and customers. Food is always incredible, the atmosphere is so welcoming!! Truly the gem of Oakland?

JD’s Taylor ham egg cheese HB patty sandwich (called the Braves) is the BEST Taylor ham sandwich in North Jersey. Staff are incredibly nice, welcoming and hard working. I always feel welcomed and it’s like Cheers, everyone knows your name. Fantastic family atmosphere on the weekends. Their sandwiches are top notch (love the Liberty too.) Highly recommend JD’s for breakfast and/or to dine-in or for take out.
