Reading the reviews and being a local resident, I'm astounded. It seems people will tolerate any kind of pricing once they walk into a diner. Breakfast for 2, you're not getting out for less than $50.00 before tip. Lunch - $60.00 Dinner - $85.00 And every month the prices go up. Are you really going to order Chicken Francese at a diner for $40.00 or a sliced steak sandwich for $35.00 at a diner ? And yet the people still pile in.
Extraordinary find. Oakland diner is more like the Hollywood set. Beautifully staged wonderfully staffed . The waitress was a delight. The food was fresh and well done. I'm from Philly and I ordered a Philly chicken wrap. It was exceptionally good. Any Philadelphia would have said so. It's worth a visit especially if you are a person who would never eat at a diner. Really a nice place.

Great local place. The portion size is large, which I always appreciate. We had the corned beef hash and the Greek special. Both dishes were fantastic and delivered with a smile. Service was fast and we loved looking at the comic book style decor.
