The Ruben was good with the right balance of good corned beef and sauerkraut. The beer selection was weak, with only 8-9 choices and they have nothing on tap, only bottles.

Stopped for late lunch... was nice and quiet. Had the clams casino... 7 clams, very good. Waiter brought us bread to soak up the sauce! We had the Philly cheese steak with onion rings. It was huge!! Also had a special, chicken portabello with red pepper brown gravy and fresh lightly sauteed vegetables. Again, perfect! Will definitely go back!

Food is consistently good. Never had a bad experience in 20 plus years. A step up from your local bar and grill. Kevin and Sharron are excellent hosts. This is our go to local place
Loved the place felt like home. First time here. Owners were delightful very attentive and when you get that in a restaurant it is worth going back. So yes I will be back and I do recommend Timbers in Oakland.

Great place! Great ambiance! Fantastic menu! I had the tortellini a la Timbers! It was delicious and so big that I took half home and still ate another THREE times at home!!!! I will DEFINITELY be going back there!!!!!

Went to this so called great restaurant...... What a disappointment and rip off. Before I had one quarter of my salad eaten my entree arrived. When I tell you my steak had one strange flavor. I knew it was off and continued to eat it. Needless to say I was up all night. Not a place I will try again.
