We have been going to Trovatos since they opened years ago , It is so Real NJ Italian!! The food is SO over the top, I'm talking fresh and authentic NJ food here, top quality ingredients, no cutting cormers, the real thing! Tony and staff are the most friendly and courteous of any North Jersey restaurants I've ever visited. Simply the best!!! Go there!

Not for the light spenders but worth every dollar. The food is always on point, I have yet to be disappointed. The shrimp scampi is Grade A and the linguine is cooked just slightly al dente. My wife usually gets the chicken parm dinner, which is super tender every time. They have a deep staff so your table is always being cleaned, dirty plates cleared, etc. They start you with bread, bruschetta, meats/cheese on the house which is a nice touch. Great place to go on a date, bring the family out, or just sit at the bar. Well run restaurant that has my support!

We went to Travato’s Due last night for my birthday dinner and it was amazing! The food and service were top notch. My husband got the Filet Mignon Angry Joe and said it was hands down the best steak he’s ever had out. (He is hard to impress lol). I had the grilled salmon pesto and it was perfect. We also tried the shrimp beep and finished with tiramisu—both delicious!

The owner very attentive, thank you Tony! Our first time here, Bobbie the bartender was awesome, very on top of her game, she knows what she’s doing and you know she’s working hard, definitely recommend and will be back, thank you all the staff for making our first time not last time

Food left a lot to be desired, linguine with shrimp and broccoli had absolutely no flavor. My son ordered a chicken parm panini but asked to swap it for vodka sauce and was charged an extra $6.. when bringing this up to the waiter was told to take it up with the owners and that they weren’t in tonight. Also asked for blue cheese dressing and Italian dressing on the side of my salad and was offered blue cheese crumbles and Italian dressing, to make it easier for the kitchen, which I accepted. Again I was not made aware of the $3 upcharge. Also the meatballs we ordered were also completely bland and when I left the whole plate of my pasta because of the lack of flavor, the waiter didn’t even ask if there was anything wrong with it.
