we’ve been here a few times with family and have to remind ourselves to stop coming The service is fine. The food was kinda gross.
The chips were stale, the enchiladas were cold and hard. The cheese they use in the enchiladas tastes like a Colby cheese stick in the middle of a tortilla. They don’t use an authentic cheese that melts nicely. The rice was hard and under cooked. It tasted like food that sat.
Nothing was very good.

The Berria tacos were dry, with very little flavor. Thank goodness for the bartender being great. She made up for what was lacking.

Charged my credit card and never got the food. Was excited to try this place but clearly business is not reliable
We’ve been patronizing this place for years and just put up with the poor service because the margaritas and food were good. Last night we celebrated my birthday and my sister in law’s birthday. The waitress or kitchen screwed up the order and instead of apologizing and trying to make it better, the owner’s wife (she made a point in telling us like it mattered) said we were being rude for asking to speak with her and being direct in our frustration. It had been 15 minutes after my brother and SIL got their meals and I still didn’t have mine. The waitress tried avoiding us to provide an explanation… she would only say the food runner has it and will bring it. The “wife” wasn’t apologetic at all. Said she’d give us a discount but when the bill came, there of course wasn’t an adjustment of any kind(I had boxed my dinner because when it finally arrived my brother and SIL were about finished with their meals). We were all shocked at how poorly she handled the situation. She had the opportunity to make it right and chose not to. She said she didn’t want us to come back. We won’t.

I visited twice before reviewing.
Once during happy hour and during the opening shifts. Nothing about their menu feels authentic -- if you are from out West and you get the wet burrito. You will be disappointed. It is not green chili.
Their beef is soulless. No flavor, no seasoning, just sadness.
I tried 3 taco styles and none of them made me wish I knew about this place sooner.
The smell in here is something. Clean isn't the word I'd use.

Despite being a Mexican food restaurant, it is adapted for tourists (foreigners and from the same country)
The atmosphere is good.

I am not sure which type of atmosphere its going for. Its almost like a diner meets a bar and grill and both decide to serve authentic Mexican food. Its a fun good food place.

Meh. The wings were good, horchata was drinkable, burrito was edible. Everything was distinctly food-like. Unfortunately that's as enthusiastic as I can get. Underwhelming, under-seasoned.
