This is a review covering two visits to Roise's Restaurant. The first visit was about two months ago. There were four people at the party. On our first visit, I ordered the pan-seared Halibut, and I say it was delicious. The other three diners ordered the Halibut, Chicken Milanese Burretta. Three of us gave the food a 5-star rating, one a 4-star rating
October 17, 2025, same 4 in the party to dine. My son ordered the Salmon, his fiancée the 14 oz Prime rib, my wife the Chicken Milanese Burretta, and I changed my selection from last visit to the Pork Chop. Results: Chicken and the Salmon dishes got good reviews; however, the Pork Chop and the steak did not get as good reviews. The Park Chope on the Menu says Char Grilled, but in my opinion, it was not Char Grilled, and it was covered, as advertised, with a sauce. The sauce is all I could taste. There was no seasoning on the Pork Chop. The guest with the 14-oz rib-eye ordered it cooked to be medium-rare, but it was rare. She sent it back, and it came out the same. The hostess agreed that the steak was still rare and offered to take it back a second time. We decided to take it home and cook it on the grill.
The food rating for Oct 17 was as follows: 2 for the Pork Chop, 2 for the Rib Eye, 4 for the Salmon, and 5 for the Chicken dish. That is a rating of slightly over three stars. Combined with the first visit, it would be a 4 for food; however, I am going to go to 3 stars to emphasize my disappointment at a top-end restaurant in that area and stay with three stars for food.

The food, beverages and service were terrific. Our only complaint was the acoustics. The restaurant is noisy and that is annoying when trying to talk to friends. Perhaps something should be placed on the ceiling, or windows to help absorb the sound. When going out for a nice dinner having a quieter atmosphere lends itself to a better experience. Just our thoughts. It sounded more like a tavern with the house level instead of an elegant dining environment.

My family of four and my in laws went for lunch on a Saturday early afternoon. There were 2 other occupied tables when we sat. The server Kersten and our drinks were great. Lobster bisque was warm at best and my father in laws pasta was cold. He had to send it back. Primavera was hot, but the steaks, pork chop, and mashed potatoes were not. I expected hot food considering the place was empty and our bill was almost $500.

What can I say about Rosie's other than they never disappoint. A few days prior to our dinner I asked Chef Chris if he could make swordfish for me even though it wasn't on the menu, so yes he made delish swordfish. We have too many favs at Rosie's. My ultimate favorite bartender is JEFF who makes the absolute best Martinis. PS: try their lobster roll it's truly the best......

Food and services were excellent. Some food was returned wasn't hot enough and head chef redid the whole meal. Which was great.
It would be wonderful if music was not turned on in the main dining room. The acoustics are not very good and it's already loud enough.

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. This restaurant did not disappoint. The food was delicious. Our waitress Sarah was was so sweet and accommodating. We will definitely be back.
