We went on Thanksgiving and Rosie's was extremely crowded. We had to wait about 30 minutes for our reservation, but once seated everything went smoothly. The food was fantastic and the service was great! We'll definitely go back - maybe even for Thanksgiving!

This is a review covering two visits to Roise's Restaurant. The first visit was about two months ago. There were four people at the party. On our first visit, I ordered the pan-seared Halibut, and I say it was delicious. The other three diners ordered the Halibut, Chicken Milanese Burretta. Three of us gave the food a 5-star rating, one a 4-star rating
October 17, 2025, same 4 in the party to dine. My son ordered the Salmon, his fiancée the 14 oz Prime rib, my wife the Chicken Milanese Burretta, and I changed my selection from last visit to the Pork Chop. Results: Chicken and the Salmon dishes got good reviews; however, the Pork Chop and the steak did not get as good reviews. The Park Chope on the Menu says Char Grilled, but in my opinion, it was not Char Grilled, and it was covered, as advertised, with a sauce. The sauce is all I could taste. There was no seasoning on the Pork Chop. The guest with the 14-oz rib-eye ordered it cooked to be medium-rare, but it was rare. She sent it back, and it came out the same. The hostess agreed that the steak was still rare and offered to take it back a second time. We decided to take it home and cook it on the grill.
The food rating for Oct 17 was as follows: 2 for the Pork Chop, 2 for the Rib Eye, 4 for the Salmon, and 5 for the Chicken dish. That is a rating of slightly over three stars. Combined with the first visit, it would be a 4 for food; however, I am going to go to 3 stars to emphasize my disappointment at a top-end restaurant in that area and stay with three stars for food.

We moved from NJ to SC and we wanted to take a dear friend out to dinner someplace special. We chose Rosie's because we knew their food, cocktails and ambiance from other visits. Our friend had never been there and it turned out to be a wonderful experience for her. We will always got to Rosie's when we visit our home state. Thank you Rosie's for a wonderful experience. The food, beverages and service were terrific. Our only complaint was the acoustics. The restaurant is noisy and that is annoying when trying to talk to friends. Perhaps something should be placed on the ceiling, or windows to help absorb the sound. When going out for a nice dinner having a quieter atmosphere lends itself to a better experience. Just our thoughts. It sounded more like a tavern with the house level instead of an elegant dining environment.
