This spot is fantastic! Fair pricing, considerable dishes and the staff are always nice.
They weren't open
Tried eating there last year and was closed for a wedding. Went this year and was amazing. Did the Pre fixed menu and wasn't disappointed. Enjoyed the Lobster Bisque and had the fresh crab cake. It was the best crab cake I've had in a long time. Loaded with fresh crab so fresh. We have definitely found our new spot to eat each year. My wife had the salad and short ribs which were so tender. Along with the chocolate cake and cheesecake.
In summers past at the Ocean Grove beach, my wife and I have often taken our dinners at Nagles on Main Avenue, which regrettably closed due to owner illness. So, we asked the manager at the Ocean Plaza Hotel for replacement recommendations, and she offered up the Bia European Bistro in the Majestic Hotel on Main Avenue. It was such an enjoyable and pleasant experience that we ate there three nights in a row! My $29.99 price fix entrees were tender and delicious braised short ribs without the bone, mushroom raviolis in a yummy sauce, and tender and juicy grilled mahi mahi. I also enjoyed the salads with goat cheese and the lobster bisque. My favorite dessert was the key lime cake, but I also thoroughly enjoyed a slice of cheesecake and a flourless chocolate cake. Even if Nagles opens again, next summer, my wife and I will definitely be returning to the Bia.
Bistro in Main St. hotel near the beach surprised us, New Yorkers, with the quality of its creative fare - esp. scallops among the best.
The $36 Surf and turf was not good. The beef had little flavor, as if it was subjected to water. My chicken breast was very good. My lobster bisque was boring. Service was slow. Will not return
My grown daughter and I took a day trip to Ocean Grove and decided to stay in town for dinner. We'd been to Bia a few times over the last 5 years. Each time we were able to sit on the porch, from which you can see the ocean. We each had a three course early bird special for $29.99. The food was very good. I'd recommend the crab cakes and flourless chocolate cake. The service was a bit slow but very pleasant. The waiter gave helpful suggestions.
The food was absolutely amazing. I had the Lobster bisque and the crab cakes. I also loved how the chef presented the food. Would definitely recommend
A very comfortable dining place. You can eat inside or outside on beautiful summer day. The food was exquisite and beautifully plated. Service excellent. To make it perfect bring a bottle of wine.
Not only was the food excellent, the way if was presented was beautiful. Everyone of my guests thoroughly enjoyed their meal.

Enjoyed great burrata salad, good halibut, but medium (not medium rare) steak. BYOB. Most of the time we were only people in this restaurant. Decor: green oil cloth tablecloths and blasting classic rock muzak.
There is something for everyone on this menu. We were told that they have a new chef and he really came through for us. The Duck was excellent, I'm told the Scallops and Fish Special were great as well. If you tried this before and were disappointed, give it another go. You won't be disappointed!
