Nagles is a bit above a diner, good food, good service at a reasonable price. I would recommend it for breakfast and lunch, not dinner. When you're on the Jersey Shore, this is the best place for a omelette or a burger.

It is a fun place to stop for ice cream. Like stepping back in time. My friends and I had sundaes and they are certainly generous without their scoops. It's delicious so you just keep stuffing your face, when you should have stopped 5 spoonfuls ago. The staff is very friendly and very nice. You can tell they like what they do. Enjoy

To me, it is VERY OVERRATED. I must say that other people are crazy for this place. It's usually always crowded, a mad house in the summer. The plus side is that it is in a very old fashioned antique filled old actual pharmacy. Fun to be in. I don't care for it but people are crazy over their ice cream. Huge lines in the summer. Lots of flavors. Open in the winter, unlike some other places in Ocean Grove. Don't let my opinion scare you away. Like I said, tons of people adore this place especially for their ice cream. Definitely worth a visit for THE atmosphere..IMPORTANT UPDATE: NAGLE'S IS CLOSED INDEFINITELY AS OF 5/19. NO FUTURE PLANS TO REOPEN AS OF NOW.

Incredible ice cream shop, and old apathacary shoppe. Old equipment and pictures on display. The best ice cream I've had in a long time. Simple food, but good. Just like the ice cream shops of old. Located in Ocean Grove NJ. A nice old gingerbread quiet city by the sea towns. Lot of bed and breakfasts. Beautiful boardwalk with no arcades etc to make it noisy. Nagles fits right in on the old main street. Lot of little shops and boutiques. Lot of colorful gingerbread houses. Whole town worth the trip, and Nagles great place to cap it off with great selection of old fashion ice creams.
