Excellent food, great service. Cozy atmosphere.
Great service. Good food. The crab cakes were the highlight. The salads were a nice surprise as well!

We chose SeaGrass Restaurant for lunch to celebrate our friend, Connie's birthday. We ate outside on a beautiful day.
Our waitress was wonderful. She didn't need to write down our orders, yet everything was prepared perfectly, and promptly served.
N.E. clam chowder was delicious. All of our salads were fresh, and plentiful. We all enjoyed our varied main courses. We're looking forward to our next visit.

Excellent atmosphere. I had the crab cakes which were huge and loaded with lump crab. Highly recommend.

I’ve been to Seagrass several times but last night, the servers were working short staffed (2 servers for the entire restaurant) and no busser. The oysters were delicious, but the red snapper was awful!! Very fishy, and the beurre blanc was awful! Sweet and tasted like apple cider vinegar. I make beurre blanc, and was never sweet and sour like that! The waiter did offer to take it off the check, but I didn’t feel right about it, so I didn’t allow it. I picked the black meat off the underside but the beurre blanc was terrible 😞

Was completely disappointed with our experience. We have a 2 1/2 year old and we’re walking by the restaurant at 2pm. I asked if we came later in the evening for dinner if there would be a wait. “There is never a wait before 6:30, especially if you’re only a party of 3”.
We could have gone anywhere to eat but with this reassuring recommendation by the maitre d we decided to come here for dinner later.
To be safe we got there at 5:45, were rudely greeted, asked our name (our name or party size was not written down ) and we ushered off to the “left” to wait, and were told it would be about 20 min. I wasn’t given a chance to say anything about a high chair/etc and was spoken to like a 3rd grader being reprimanded for doing something wrong.
Clearly the maitre d had used this tact with the other patrons, as everyone waiting “to the left” was complaining about the same thing.
Parties seemed to be called to their table randomly and when someone would complain (this happened repeatedly) that they were skipped, they would be seated.
We did the same after 45 minutes and were finally seated. Our 2 year old was done waiting at that time and started crying uncontrollably. My wife and daughter had to leave and I had to get our entire dinner to go.
NO APOLOGY FROM THE CLUELESS MAITRE D.
i had gotten the sea bass with lobster risotto- which was supposed to be their signature dish. It was under-seasoned and completely underwhelming.
LEARN TO RESPECT YOUR CUSTOMERS ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO SHOW UP AHEAD OF TIME TO GET A REALISTIC ESTIMATE (patrons with small children, elderly, or others needing more specialized attention.)
Your food is mediocre at best and your customer service is terrible!

One of our all time favorite places. The owner and the staff really make you feel at home. The food is both delicious and elegantly presented

Fell as I was leaving the restaurant. There was a step without any sign or notice. Broke my foot and I am suppose to go in a cruise. Called and spoke to owner, Matt, who said they met the town codes. He really wasn’t sympathetic and wasn’t interested in my pain. Very disappointed and because is his lack of empathy, I will not be returning which I’m sure he could k fat care less.

Absolutely delicious and inspired food. I will be coming back every time I’m in the area. The seafood pasta and sesame tuna were outstanding, and the service was both attentive and warm. Truly a must-try restaurant!

Ocean Grove is a quint town. We were seated outside which is on the sidewalk, metal tables and chairs, nice vibe, you can chat with the people seated next to you. Food and service was amazing. We ordered off the daily special menu sweet kiss oysters, augula and strawberry salad, and lamb pops with a strawberry glaze. Food was fresh and delicious.
