We've gone a number of times, but don't think we'll be going again. First, parking can be challenging, as street spaces are limited. They have a policy of limiting the number of checks they will issue to two per table, even though they encourage you to pay in cash, adding a 3.5% charge for card (debit or credit) use. We did so. This is unnecessary, as the use of cash eliminates the transaction fees and causes confusion as it takes time and a lot of accounting to figure out who had what. It also reduces the amount of work the server has to do, which we suspect was the point. You shouldn't have to work so hard and takes away from enjoying the food, especially when they want to move you out by asking every five minutes whether you done with the check (owner and server) to move you out when they're busy, which is often. Now, the food. Their policy is to list high prices for the entrees and charge half-price. In fairness, the 1/2 price selections were extended to the whole menu, not just the specials, as it was not in season. My steak was a little fatty but not bad. One companion had a clam dish, which for some reason had sausage in it, which she did not like. Another had an airplane chicken dish which had a hard crust rendering it uneatable to him. No salad or soup came with the meals, and we were charged $3 for 3 slices of rye, cut in half to appear to be more. As is the case with many restaurants today, the noise level was high, making it difficult to hear the server at times. In sum, we can no longer recommend this restaurant."

Had a great second visit to Sea Grass! As mentioned in other reviews this restaurant is BYOB, so we started with our wine (which they nicely brought an ice bucket for) and the oyster special. My boyfriend really appreciated how the oysters weren't overly salty and the pear glaze added a good flavor. Since we had such a large appetizer, we decided to split the halibut for our entree. We were pleasantly surprised when our waitress brought out two plates, pre-split for us. The halibut had a nice herb crust and was served over lobster risotto (and they definitely did not skimp on the lobster!!). Overall, lovely dining experience!

Excellent scallop salad, 3 nice sized scallops with a light dressing, lots of shredded cheese and dried fruit. I do prefer pared pears though.New England chowder was tasty, but had a little too much roux and was quite thick.Superb service for a party of 22! Very impressive!

First time visit and it was very good. Not overwhelmed with a huge menu as many places are. Had lunch which was very tasty. Be aware there is no alcohol served due to being in Ocean Grove. Will return, but most likely not in the summer since parking is difficult during tourist season. Easy to walk around the business district.
