Absolutely loved the food at the Victorian Grill, wonderfully prepared and set down in front of us with a smile. One of the best of the top 5 burgers I have ever had. Every time I visit Ocean Grove, this is one of my go-to places! Thankyou!

The servant gave us attitude that she was busy and showed no desire to serve us. Sat inside for 20 min, we told her we were ready to order 3 times but got igonred, kept walking by us until the other worker stepped in. Not a pleasant experience to be honest.

Our lunch here was excellent. Not as fancy or as overpriced as some of the other restaurants on the same street, but we really enjoyed our meals.
This is a family run place and the service is excellent.

Found my new favorite beach spot! The Victorian Grill in Ocean Grove is this super cute, small corner restaurant with a chill seaside vibe. Loved the outdoor seating—it's way quieter than other beach areas.
Okay, but let's talk about the food. The Bacon Burger, medium, was literally one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. As a total burger fanatic, this is easily in my top 5. The patty was huge, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the bacon was cooked to perfection. The seasoning was incredible and stayed with me every single bite. I was so full, but honestly debated getting another one. The fries portion was a bit small, but they were so well-seasoned I didn't even care. If you're in the area, you HAVE to stop here. So worth it!

My family and I had an amazing time at The Victorian Grill! The food was absolutely fresh and flavourful. The décor was warm and inviting, giving the place such a charming atmosphere. The music, especially the 90s tunes, made it even more fun and nostalgic. What really impressed us was the young man who was running the show—he handled everything with professionalism, kindness, and energy, making us feel completely taken care of. And to finish, the sorbet and gelato were outstanding, the perfect sweet ending to a great night. This is truly a super nice place when you visit Ocean Grove. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!

I love The Victorian Grill so much! It’s my favorite place to go in Ocean Grove and eat a burger. Their gelato is delightful and the service is incredible. Anthony and Lauren are great at their work and I am excited to come back next summer!

Great place. Best Gelato. The owner and his staff really care. So good to see that these days. Thank you Anthony...You are the Best!!
Turkey and hummus wrap was excellent and fries were the best! Even though they were short staffed today the owner did everything to make us feel like VIP guests. The gelato is a must.

Horrible place with zero service. I'd give zero stars if possible. I go inside to order and the guy at the counter says I can sit outside and get SERVICE which is a crock of nonsense so I sit outside and wait 15 minutes just to get a menu. Then the server NEVER came back. The guy inside at the counter not taking my order was more than enough for me to say adios!
Obviously I left and they lost a potential customer. I never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant. Oh well I'll stick with restaurants that know how to treat a customer.
One last thing : I was there on a Monday night and it wasn't that busy. I should have read the other reviews because apparently several people are complaining about the bad service. Get your act together or you won't stay in business much longer.
Update: OBVIOUSLY the owner doesn't get it with the Same standard reply to several other complaints about bad service. Maybe it's your poor way of doing business and not me? Hmm.
SIR YOU NEED TO GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER. IF YOU DON'T HAVE ENOUGH STAFF TO HANDLE BASIC VOLUME ON A MONDAY you'll never be able to stay in business much longer. This isn't a top of the line steakhouse its a burger place with food made to order. I have news for you friend: several restaurants in the area make good fresh to order but know how to serve people properly by hiring enough staff.
Next time let me order at the counter because your idea of service isn't working. Just a strong suggestion.

My guess is the food would have been good if they were actually open when they’re supposed to be. I placed an online order and it was accepted And supposed to be ready 50 minutes after they’re posted opening time. I show up and the doors are locked. Somebody was inside, but wouldn’t pick up my phone call or even have the decency to cancel my order. I essentially waited two hours assuming I was going to be eating lunch today.
