A hidden gem! Tasty breakfast with great local ambience. Watching the boaters and jet skiers an added bonus. A good find!

Honestly just look elsewhere. Drinks were served in disposable cups, dining plates were served with paper plates on top. I can only assumed they don’t like washing dishes there. If they don’t like washing dishes I wonder how they feel about cookware. Eggs were under cooked and the home fries technically cooked but not crispy at all. Add all this to the fact that it was at least 80-85 degrees in the dining room led to a pretty disappointing experience.

Nice atmosphere. Very lowkey easy going Cafe. Everyone was very friendly. Ordered the three egg omelet with scrapple. Hashbrowns were exactly how I like them, sticks and crispy. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Will definitely be back!

Cafe on the Bay in Ocean View across from Sea isle City. They rent boats daily.

Great breakfast this morning on the water. Bacon and cheese omelette was delicious as was my wife's chocolate chip brioche french toast. Inside and outside dining is available. Breakfast and lunch stop, very good. Service was great as well as the atmosphere.

This is my favorite restaurant in SIC because it resembles a pier “diner” in TI (Townsend’s Inlet) of many years ago. From the new SIC Blvd, turn onto the old SIC Blvd. Look for a faded Bay Breeze Café sign or a large Larsen’s sign painted on a three-story building that is adjacent to the in-land water way and the site of the former SIC bridge. The 6+ table café is on the bottom floor. Outside, there are picnic tables adorned with gay, rustling umbrellas, a pot full of colorful petunias (formerly red geraniums) and a parking area with pea stone similar to crushed oyster shells. We went on a Monday about 1:30 pm and had the place to ourselves. The cafe is only open for breakfast and lunch—call for time and days. I didn’t need the menu—crab cake on a bun with lettuce and tomato; French fries are optional. The only action were the young fellows cleaning the rental boats—the only thing different from 50 years ago was the size of the out-board motors and Grandma Rubino making meatballs and spaghetti sauce for the late returning fishermen. The view is spectacular, the food is delicious, the waitress was accommodating—and you’re at the shore on a bright sunny, bay-breezy day. What more could anyone ask for? Oh… crabbing is permitted on the opposite end (western) of the road. Bring your line, sinker, bunker and net or buy these items at the bait and tackle shop on the Larsen’s premises. See you.
