Aug. 2025 Stopped in on tge way home from a event. The one thing about chain restaurants is they all look the same and the menu are relatively the same. Which is a good thing. But tgey should allow them the opportunity to have 2 or 3 menu item that are independent from cooperate and their sister restaurants.
Mimi was exceptional with her service. Along with smile and ability to read people. Our food was all typical for Applebee's. The exception here was that tha manager walked around to each table and asked about the food and service . Atmosphere, hey cooperate. It's time to change a few things around and clean up the look. This place is children friendly and parking is plentiful along with handicapped friendly.

Our waitress, Lala or Lola had a bad attitude towards us. I always felt like there was a sense of anger behind it. I leave a tip as much as I could, and she said that’s it.

Carside people always look like they hate their lives. Food was cold even though I picked it up on time. I got two sides of fries and they basically gave me one. This isn't the first time this location sucked. We usually order from the Eatontown one, but by accident picked this one

We ordered online and went to pick up in person. Their front desk staff (he had dreads) was so polite and greeted me so nicely. He kept me appraised on the t status of my food and once it was ready he made sure I had all utensils and that my order was correct. The food was amazing. Everything was made better than i expected, given the reviews. Thankfully I had a better experience! I would be back again !

I came here after a long day at work didn't feel like cooking. So my kids and I came here. Actually it was horrible I would never go here again. The people behind us kid kept hanging over the seat at one point she had a fork hanging it over the seat where my son was sitting. Kids were out of control parents just letting them do whatever they want. Staff seemed to know them. I did say something at the end to the lady who seemed to be the manager but she just kinda brushed it off.

Our waitress was not very good. She didn’t write anything down. Things were not brought out correct. She didn’t come back out with a cup that was asked for and she had a crappy attitude.
I'm genuinely happy to see that Applebee's is still going strong! Their menu offers a great variety, ensuring that everyone can find something they enjoy. The appetizers never disappoint, and the pricing remains reasonable.
At this particular location, the servers are consistently kind and attentive, making the dining experience even better. The space is clean and well-maintained, though the carpet could use a refresh—but honestly, that’s a minor detail. Overall, it's a solid spot for a casual meal with good food and great service!

Came in has a party of 7..waitress put us in a booth with a chair . No way 3 adults can fit on 1 bench..the service was horrible and the food that took nearly a hour to arrive was cold..we order a few to go meals they all was put in one bag..waitress was not friendly at all and to boot restaurant was empty..I'm never going back to Ocean.

We enjoyed our meal but service could have been better. It seemed as if she was the host, server, etc..so I'll be nice. But the owners/manager should not put her in that position because now the customers get shifty service.
Parking: In a strip mall and you can walk to Crumble or dollar store!
