This is a diner: very clean and well-decorated with a large selection on their menu.\nMy date ordered a cup of soup followed by a salad. I tasted the soup and was pleased to note that it wasn't salty.\nWe both ordered the same salad: grilled chicken with avocado, etc. The portion was generous, the salad was fresh, the avocado was perfectly ripe, the grilled chicken was neither salty nor dry. Staff was very attentive and had good suggestions. The portion were huge and for me my take home made it a multiple meal . Food was good, just maybe minor updates on decor on the inside, but is was very clean and upkept.

I really enjoyed having breakfast at Kristy’s. The staff were friendly and welcoming when we entered the place. True to the NJ diner standard the coffee is excellent and almost non-stop. The food was cooked well and delicious. I have been dining here since 1985 and the current version does not disappoint. Thanks to the entire crew there for keeping an important piece of Americana alive. The good Jersey diner is an institution.👊🏻
