Stopped by for a single malt at front store. Ended up staying in the bar in the back of store. There are a few places left in NJ that have the front as a liquor store and the back as a Bar. They had a Dj and a party going on. Lots of people and a very good time. Friendly and also his choice of pkg goods at front was extensive.
Shoutout to this POS that clearly had a dry tampon up his a** today. I don't live in NJ but I visit my man for days at a time for over two years now and this WAS our favorite spot tonight until he refused not only my license which is up to date and scannable ... but also Gave him my old NY benefits card to see again my birthday and picture. There is NO sign that says if you're out of state you can't buy beer liquor or cigs in the shop. He then asked me for my passport. I don't own one lmao but please put a f****** sign up. I'm 27 years old and my man a year older with a NJ State license up to date and he was refused his beer. Suck a bag of dicks.

If you aren't from NJ don't plan on buying any booze here. I am obviously 21 and the guy wouldn't give me a break because I'm not from NJ (PA driver's license). I explained to him that I'd been driving for an hour to find beer (it was Sunday night) and the dude was still cold. Awful business model to only sell to NJ residents. I'm never going back here again and I think no one else should. I only put one star because they had $19 PBR 30 packs.
