I called the pharmacy on Thursday and asked if I need an appointment to get my COVOID booster, the woman said no just come in. Stopped in last night at 5:30 after work and the pharmacist told me they were not taking wall ins because she was the only pharmacist working and was busy. She said you have to come Monday thru Friday between 1 and 4. I stated I work during those hours. I asked do I need an appointment? She stated even if you had an appointment, if I am the only pharmacist working I would tell you no we are not doing vaccines. I booked an appointment online last night for this morning so we will see how that goes. The pharmacist had a real attitude!

I have shopped regularly at Weagmans since moving to NJ 7 years ago. Three year ago I have then a 5 start review. But now I am finding myself having to go to other stores more and more because Weagmans is starting to exclusive carry only their brands. Choice and variety of products has diminished. Many of the products they make I have had to return because they just aren't up to my standards. They have been blaming it on the supply chain. Those days are over! I can find the products at all the other grocery stores in the area. So sad that I can't shop here as much.

On Friday eve I purchased Wegmans brand organic arugula & spinach salad mix. I live 1 mile from the store. Put it in the fridge & on Saturday, went to make a salad. The arugula was turning pale yellow and was mushy on a good part of the greens. I went to exchange today( Sunday), all the salad packages for wegmans brand in that variety had been removed, indicating they pulled them. At the service desk, a young girl With red hair was more interested in blocking the return instead of keeping a customer… treating me as if I’m trying to work her over for a $3.00 box of greens. I had additional items to purchase but when I told her I didn’t want a Shoppers club card bc I don’t want to give my personal data… she refused to exchange and was rude suggesting the store was busy and that’s why they were out of salad. I don’t care what “power” her $12/ an hour position gives her in her head but honestly, this is the ONLY store I have ever been declined an exchange for bad food. It’s almost comical…. What was she defending… the company from the rampant salad returns. Never again, Wegmans….

So I was in this Wegmans yesterday and ran in to get a cup of coffee accompanied by my leashed and trained service animal ( who has a leash that says “service animal” clearly on the leash). I was planning on running out to grab a cart to pick up a few items that I needed and had him under control on his leash. A member of the Wegmans team was pushing some sort of cart around looked right at him with a very nasty look on her face and rolled her eyes and said “I can’t”. When I said “excuse me?” to her since she was reacting negatively to my service animals presence she got nasty with me and said “huh?” And then i asked her “why did you look at him, roll your eyes, and say I can’t?” She proceeded to get nasty and defensive with me and said “I said I can’t but it wasn’t about that thing” referring to my service animal. Obviously irritated because i called her out. So I was extremely upset and anxious at this point and left the store. When i got back to my office i called the store, asked for the store manager and was told she wasn’t in. So I spoke to the customer service person who answered the phone and who assured me they were documenting the issue and that the front end manager would get back to me. If not them then the store manager. Fast forward 24+ hours later no call. Nothing. Not from anyone. Not the front end manager. And not the store manager. I was discriminated against because of the presence of my service animal and the stores choice is to ignore the problem and the insensitivity of their associates. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible.

Every time I go to Wegmans as todayI go in for low salt ham And they don’t have any! This is not the first time I used to go there all the time but now I have to go to Food town and ShopRite to get what I need so I can make them one stop shopping instead of two stops!

I have been shopping at this store since it opened. I was warned that the prices were higher than other supermarkets. For some items, yes, but for most of what I buy, their prices are the same and very often below others. Their fruit and vegetables are always fresh and clean. Most of their own brands are equal and often lower priced than the standard brands. I would also point out that their staff have always been friendly and pleasant and will offer to help you find something that you cannot.

If I could give less than a zero percent rating for the delivery service I would. Wegmans customer service is even worse. "Instacart" is apparently a 3rd Party Company that Wegmans will take no responsibility for and will do nothing to resolve issues. My order is wrong every time, it's always missing essential items, and the "shoppers" substitute items that I know are in the store out of convenience for them. Essentially my money is being spent on what's easiest for the "shop

If you ever see an older guy by the name of Steve, run! Piss poor service, I felt pure anger from this worker because I was ordering 1 sandwich. While he was making my sub the lack of care was very evident. Im sorry I said everything and didn't want peppers, I didn't need to be reprimanded saying well then don't say everything...I sould have asked to speak to a supervisor and have them make me another. Instead I kindly said thank you as he almost threw my sandwich at me like here and get the F outta my face for having me do my job. Worst service I have ever received from Wegmans.

I enjoy going to this Wegman's on Ocean NJ. They offer quality food products, many of which you cannot find elsewhere. Their staff is always courteous and helpful. Their liquor department is exceptional. Again, courteous staff and helpful.Prices reasonable.
