I think that the bagels here are really my favorite bagels in all of NJ. The insides are thick and fluffy, while the outside is slightly crisp, just like a bagel should be. Usually I get a half dozen and an egg and cheese on a bagel to-go. They also have really nice flavored cream cheese.

I gladly drive the extra 20 minutes from Monroe just to get my bagels from Bagel Boy in Old Bridge — that’s how good they are. The bagels are always fresh, perfectly made, and absolutely worth the trip every single time. You can taste the quality and care in everything they make. On top of that, the employees are some of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet. They’re welcoming, fast, and always get my order right with a smile. If you’re serious about your bagels, this place is a must. Totally worth going out of your way for.

I got a gluten free bagel and it was the BEST I have ever had. Normally when I get them at bagel places they taste more like a pastry versus a bagel but here it tasted just like a bagel. Although it is a lot smaller than a normal bagel it was delicious!

Food is good, but they keep getting our orders wrong. Today we ordered a wheat everything with veggie cream cheese but got it with butter. The guy even repeated back the correct order, but somehow we still ended up with the wrong item. So we got a less expensive item than what we paid for.

Came here for the first time. And probably won't be coming back. I asked for a whole wheat bagel toasted and got a white bread bagel barely toasted. If you can't get basic orders right maybe you should have a better system so your staff can hear better. And you won't even know until you get home so you're stuck with an order you didn't want. Waste of time.
Waited 15 minutes for just a pork roll and cheese. It was a little bit of busy which I understand but the pork roll was burnt

Grabbed a few bagels to go—pretty solid, close enough to a classic NY bagel to satisfy a craving. However, the BEC sandwich was a letdown. It came with barely any bacon (literally two small pieces), which made the whole thing feel skimpy and not worth it. I’ll stick to just the bagels if I come back, but I’ll probably pass next time.
