Food is always good, and the prices are reasonable. Have been eating Bagel Boy bagels and sandwiches for more than 30 years, spanning 4 or 5 different locations throughout Brooklyn. So glad they came to Old Bridge!

Always packed and disorganized. Every time I go in to order food they are always in a rush that they mess up on the orders. I asked for a pasta salad and got tomatoes and cucumber salad. Asked for an everything bagel with chicken salad got a completely different salad. How is that if you make it clear to them. They not focusing on the customer. They look everywhere and rushing. Shame cause I met the owner's and they are very nice but the workers they have to train better.

Horrible service. Ordered my sandwich then waited 10 minutes a guy who walked in 5 minutes after me got the same sandwich and got his before me. Great food but horrible service. This wasn't the first time. Another time I was there I was the only one in the store shortly after they opened. Had to wait 7 minutes before my order was taken . Three employees standing behind the counter all on their phones. If I didn't say can someone take my order probably would have been longer.

Bagel boy makes a damn good bagel. The Breakfast sandwiches don’t hit the spot for me but an everything bagel with vegetable creamcheese is a home run. Cold cut sandwiches and the paninis always good. The know how to make Nice crispy chicken

The guy I talked to on the phone was a total prick, super rude. Maybe find some nicer people to answer your phones?? Sad.

They always get it wrong! Very upsetting you get home, open up your food & it’s wrong +burnt! 3 sandwiches - all wrong!! cinnamon raisin toasted w/ bacon, eggs & potato… —had cheese on it & burned bagel!, ordered poppyseed bagel with bacon, over medium egg & cheese…—had no cheese, was scrambled & it was on cinnamon raisin bagel! Cinnamon raisin bacon, egg, & cheese… —was on a poppyseed bagel & over med instead of scrambled. My son is lactose intolerant so he could not eat his, the other impossible to swap the bagels as the over easy was all over the place, just unhappy. $27.54 Total for 3 bagels & 1 Arizona iced tea. $$$ Not the first time, but it is the last! Next.

Every time I ask for crispy bacon, it’s the most under crisp bacon I’ve ever seen. I don’t think it’s too much of a request to politely ask for crispy bacon. Wasting my money.

Great bagels and bialys toasted. This place is very popular and most crowded on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Their cream cheese and spreads are delicious. Their baked goods like carrot cakes and chocolate brownies are very good too. The best time to go with the least wait is in the afternoons. They are open from 5:00am to 5:00pm which is really convenient. The staff is nice and accommodating. Their hot coffee is very good too. A little bit more expensive than I expected, but worth it on special occasions when you need a quick dozen bagels. It's good to get a sandwich there to eat in at their tables or to take out.

Updating this review and changing from 2 stars to 1. Decided to try them again. This is one of the WORST run businesses I have encountered in the entire tri-state area. They must hold full staff meetings to figure out ways to p!$$ off and disrespect customers. /original post starts here… I wish I could rate them higher because more than half the staff are reasonably friendly, and the food is reasonably good but not spectacular enough to make up for how long an order takes. Sometimes ordering in person can be okay, but usually not... And ordering online is ALWAYS too long a wait. So it's fine if you wake up in the morning to order lunch and figure you may get your food around suppertime. Obviously a bit of sarcasm, but rooted in consistent activity. Plan ahead if you want to get food from here until they invest in a bigger kitchen and more staff.
