Terrible service. I came for a takeout order on the afternoon of Saturday Oct 19th. There’s a bunch of kids working behind the counter. I was primarily dealing with a tall guy that spoke Spanish and a girl with dark brown hair in a ponytail. They had their backs against the counter, were hanging out talking and scrolling through instagram. Completely ignoring the counter. I placed my order and specifically ordered onion rings with my burger and 2 sunrise drinks. The guy told me my food would be ready in 15 minutes. After 45 minutes and them clearly seeing me standing around waiting, I had to ask multiple times. I kept getting “it’ll be out in a few minutes.” Nobody was checking or seemed to care that I was waiting for 45 minutes. Finally they bring my food out and tell me I’m “good to go,” but I had to remind them about my 2 drinks. Only then did they go make them. When I got home, no onion rings. Just regular fries. Infuriating first experience, I’ll never go back.

Horrible place, hostess and servers were so rude, after waiting almost an hour for a table they told us they couldn’t seat us. We were party of 5, there as plenty’s of 4 top tables and plenty of space around them, we asked to just add an extra chair and we’ll make it work with the kids, they can sit on our laps, but they refused to seat us. The hostess proceeded to seat people that came long after us and we never got seated. We decided to order our food and eat it at the table outside, then another waitress came out and explained that they have a “system” and we’d have to be seated at either her section or the other section because of the tips. We decided to leave and never coming back. Horrible experience from the get go.

Update: it is amazing what few months could do to the level of service in a place, and Cozy turns out to be no exception, let's unpack this now:
When a customer says somthing regarding the service in a place, the first 2 words out whomever the customer is talking to are :I'm sorry, however this wasn't the case on today's visit, which will be our last, sadly.
After a 20 minute wait, you're taken to your table asked what drinks you'd like and left for few minutes to make your choice, that's normal and fine, however, getting your drinks and not even asking if you're ready, to move the next table, that was seated after you, to take that table's deink order and full order for 4 people while you and your spouse are left to...uhhh figure out your own answers to the universal question...are we invisible!?
When i pointed out the young lady if there was any reason why she kinds skipped us , no apology, just attitude and well, take it or leave it!
So, we left it :-) paid for the drinks with exact change, needless to say, no tip.
So, back to the beginning of this wee rant, it is amazing what 1 person can do to your business, and i guess since business is doing well, who cares if 1 or 2 people are treated like plebs :-)
I left my original review as is, it's from August of 2024, just so viewers can compare.
So long, Cozy Cafe, my money is going somewhere else.
Food quality is top notch, very nice and wide options on the menu, simply put...there is somthing for everyone's taste and craving.
Portion size is...well..very generous to say the least, during the 45 minutes my wife and I were there, not one guest left without a to go box :-) which is nice to see to be honest, it's good to see a business that takes care of giving "your money's worth" kind of treatment.
My one not so positive note, mind you, not criticizing at all, is that the dining room in the front was a bit too warm, and the room in the back was a bit too loud due to the placement of the speaker, other than that, everything was perfect.
Highly Recommend this place for breakfast/lunch, oh, and if you are into kielbasa, order the "Strong&Sexy" which isn't what some might think lol, but a kielbasa lovers dream ;-)

Super tasty large portions, friendly staff. As is often the case - it looks inconspicuous from the outside but the inside is very cozy and clean.

Cozy Cafe - A Birthday Breakfast Delight!
I recently visited Cozy Cafe in Old Bridge, NJ, to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and ensured we had a memorable morning.
We ordered a variety of dishes: the Lumberjack, Breakfast Burrito, Still Undecided and European Breakfast. Each dish was prepared to perfection, bursting with flavor and presented beautifully. The Lumberjack was hearty and satisfying, the Breakfast Burrito was packed with delicious ingredients, and the European Breakfast offered a delightful mix of continental favorites.
Seeing the quality and taste of the dishes my family enjoyed, I know I can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The staff’s attentiveness and friendliness truly made our visit special.
If you’re looking for a cozy spot with amazing food and exceptional service, Cozy Cafe is the place to be. Highly recommended for any occasion, especially a special birthday breakfast!

Highly recommend for a great breakfast.
Huge portions!!!
Everything is delicious.
I try something different every time I go and I’m always happy with my choice.
They make a great corned beef hash.
The Cozy Benedict is so good.
The loaded pierogi omelette is another unique dish worth trying.
Looking forward to my next visit

My wife and I love this little Cozy spot for our morning breakfast. Service is great ( I believe Caitlyn attends is), and every meal feels unique and tasty. Coffee is also better than Starbucks in my opinion:)

Great little hole in the wall breakfast and lunch diner
Vegetarian options: They have a part on the menu dedicated to it
Parking: There's a lot around back that isn't very clear unless you notice the small sign
Wheelchair accessibility: Pretty good, not much restriction, entry way might be a little cramped for big mobility devices
