I hate leaving this review. I absolutely love the pizza here. I Use to get it when Pete's tavern made this pie. Vitali's Bar bought the recipe from Pete & now the Saloon makes it. The only pizza I'll eat. I also like the burgers & chicken tenders w/fries. I've noticed when you got the tenders you got 6. The last time I got 4. Ordered last night for delivery. I got 2 tenders & 15 fries. That cost $10. My daughter ordered a bean burger, got a mushie veggie burger she couldn't eat. This place was always a gem with their food, I have to say the food is going down hill for me. I won't order or come in for food anymore. I'll still get the pizza till they ruin that. As I'm writing this I finally stopped throwing up, had a mild case of food poisoning. Thank god my daughter didn't get sick, I was the lucky one. The owners should check who was in the kitchen Sunday evening & have a talk about cross contamination.
Vegetarian options: They advertise bean burgers but you get the old veggie burgers that were out back in the day. They're are so many veggie burgers out there today that are good. The black bean burgers or impossible burgers. It's apparent they went to the cheaper burger but didn't change the price

been a customer for years and never had a complaint. nornally get the pizza but branched out on some take out and deeply regretted it. my mom ordered chicken tender and fries, when it arrived there was only 2 chicken tenders and less then a handful of fries (for $10). i got the veggie burger and it was beyond nasty, i couldnt finish it! the reason for my review is because my mom got so sick from the food.. either a really crappy cook or unsanity conditons in the kitchen... buyers beware

Come here every Thursday after work. The 2 women who work the bar are absolutely on point with their service. My glass is never empty for more than a minute. Proud too call the saloon my Thursday watering hole.
Great neighborhood bar. Super friendly staff and patrons. Awesome vibes and usually have good jams being played on touch tunes. The two blondes on day shift are the best! Always willing to put on whatever channel you want for games, etc.

The Saloon is Old Bridge’s friendly neighborhood bar/restaurant. You can walk in alone or with a group and you’ll leave having made even more friends all while eating delicious food with fantastic service. Definitely give it try- I recommend getting a good juicy burger and an ice cold beer.

Not sure what was worse. The food, the prices or the waitress. The chicken cheesesteak and chicken parm sandwiches were disgusting. A “side salad” which was a plate of iceberg lettuce and a few tomatoes was $9. The waitress made us cash out with her because she was leaving so we had to order dessert when our entrees arrived. The lava cake was bone dry. Overall, this probably was the worst place i have eaten at in a while. And for what we spent, it was absolutely a 1 star experience. 🤢
