The food is awesome. The oysters were phenomenal. The martinis are well made. The only drawback is the live music. I love live music, but the talent was lacking the night we went. All else was amazing.

My friends and I went and had a wonderful experience as always. We all ordered from the specials menu. We got the short rib quesadillas, steak tacos, and shrimp tacos. All of our meals were so flavorful. We got the brownie for dessert which was decadent. For drinks we ordered an espresso martini, three peanut butter and jelly martinis, and a pineapple martini. They were well made our server was very helpful and sweet. We will be back very soon.

BAND WAS UNBEARABLE, ruined the entire experience. I am all for live music but it shouldn't be deafening the entire restaurant was unhappy with music volume and apparently manager wasn't concerned with all the customers that come there to enjoy dinner . If I wanted to go to concert I'd go to a concert .. very simple turn the volume down

The food was good. Great oysters. Enjoyed the French Dip. Tried the salmon sliders which were a bit overcooked and came with no condiment, but tartar sauce was available when asked. The fries were great as were the cocktails. Live music was nice. A little loud, but is live music so enjoyable. Overall good experience. Will return.

We recently had a party and I can’t say enough about the manager, Jose and the overall staff. We originally booked the party room, but once our numbers exceeded the room limit, we were able to use part of the restaurant. They were extremely accommodating about everything. The food was very good and they allowed us to make changes to the menu without an issue. I Iwould also recommend the restaurant for an excellent meal.

Our server, Crystal was excellent with a wonderful personality. The beers on tap were good with a nice selection. The pizza was a little too salty. The spicy tuna sushi was good. The soy sauce is in a low sodium bottle, but there's no way it's low sodium soy sauce and the quality is terrible. The manager refused to honor the prices on the happy hour menu that was on our table that also matched the prices on GrilleStone's website. Shameful!! If this is how they deceive customers, they'll probably close the Old Bridge location like they did in Scotch Plains. We ordered the food based on the prices on the menu. I checked the website and they were the same after we received the bill and I disputed it. My friends and coworkers won't be going to karaoke or music bingo ever again. Check out the prices on OpenTable's menu. They're also wrong and even lower!! What's wrong with you people?? Those are pre-Covid prices with the wrong happy hours listed (3-7 pm). Seriously? The area near the kitchen and rest rooms STUNK like a sewer. The ladies' room's toilets were flushing non-stop. The mens' room toilet had no water and did not flush plus there was no soap! The parking lot was FULL of cars with very few people in the restaurant.. wtf?

My first time leaving a Google review for a restaurant. We went to Grillestone for Music Bingo tonight. It’s only 15-20 minutes from our house so we were hoping we found a nice place for a treat meal once a week or so. We left disappointed. Strike one- no Music Bingo. We later learned the bingo host had quit. But that happens - and we were seated and prepared for a great night out anyway. Our drinks were good and we ordered from both the Prix Fixe and the regular menu. That’s when things headed downhill. My girlfriend’s stuffed mushrooms came out…well, unstuffed. They were just mushrooms topped with a cream of spinach sauce. We asked the waitress about it and she apologized and headed back to the kitchen. The waitress returned and agreed they were supposed to be stuffed with sausage. She came back a few minutes later and apologized that they had run out of sausage. That didn’t seem to stop the kitchen from sending them out. Maybe they were hoping we wouldn’t notice the unstuffedness of the mushrooms. There wasn’t an offer to just get another appetizer (or even a more aptly named one.) Luckily a few minutes later someone brought out my girlfriends meal. It would have been better if my meal came out the same time, or even shortly after. I guess we weren’t expected to eat together. Our meals were ok, not great but maybe we made poor food choices (Chilean Sea Bass and Chicken Picatta.) We should have complained to the manager but it shouldn’t have taken a complaint for them to make changes. Overall a disappointing experience.

I can’t review the food because I never got to eat it. My family and I have a ton a gift cards to “Grillstone” but were told we couldn’t use them because current ownership will not accept gift cards sold under previous ownership. At first we were told they were effectively worthless. Then as we left we were stopped and told that *maybe* they’d give us half the value. But they consistently claimed our gift cards were old (even though the Old Bridge name, logo, and address were on the cards) and that they absolutely would refuse to accept gift cards that only listed the Scotch Plains location. Maybe, though, management should then remove news articles from their walls announcing the opening of the Scotch Plains and Old Bridge locations if 1) they claim no affiliation to the now-closed Scotch Plains location and 2) they have no affiliation with previous ownership.Just overall poor customer service. In these times, eating out is a privilege, and it’s hard to be told our money is worth less than it already is, especially at a restaurant with prices as it has.TLDR - After a long weekend, we wanted to come together and do something nice, and instead left because we were told our gift cards had little to no value.

The food is overpriced and subpar. I ordered a steak and it arrived (very) well done, despite asking for medium, and the steak itself was 50% fat and clearly not high quality. I had to explain to the waitress how to make the drink that I ordered - not her fault, she came back to ask because the bartender did not know how to make this (it's a common drink). Appetizers were probably the best part of the meal, although expensive. The service was great and ambience was far better than the food. Has potential, but ultimately the basics (food and drink in a restaurant) fall far short of expectations, and you can have a far better meal for less money.
