First time I ate from here. The staff was welcoming. Very friendly. The place was clean and inviting. The amount of fresh slices they had to offer made it hard to choose. The pizza was some of the best I had in a long time. If you have not tried this place, you need to!!

I recently had a disappointing experience at a pizzeria where I paid a whopping $16 for just three slices of pizza (2 plain and a pepperoni vodka Sicilian). The price seemed exorbitant, and the value for money was simply not there. Online a plain pie is advertised as $13.99…Well unfortunately, this experience has left me with no desire to be a returning customer.

Got a 25.00 pizza but because I used credit card I was charged an extra 12.00 fee for using credit card!!! Are you kidding,?! Robbery. Pizza not worth 37.00!!!!!!

Usually your pizza is good but today the pizza we got was undercooked and the crust was doughy and raw. They were too rushed to let it cook
-Positives: delivery was quick and the person on the phone was very nice.-Negatives: Ordered the Pomodoro Pan Pizza and Stuffed Mushrooms. The pizza was 95% dough, 3% sauce, 2% cheese, and 200% garlic. I ate about 2 slices before throwing the rest out. (I had company and they made the right choice and didn't partake) You could smell the box from a couple rooms over. Their ratios of dough to toppings could be adjusted a bit for a better pizza experience, but the main hurdle is the garlic.I was excited about the stuffed mushrooms until I opened the container and noticed the abundance of garlicy fumes. The mushrooms were served in a metal container, which contained about a stick's worth of melted butter on the bottom. The mushrooms themselves tasted fine, but the filling seemed to be a shallow layer of Ricotta cheese, then a small patty of Italian breadcrumbs on top. (bland... minus the overwhelming taste of garlic)I had almost forgotten to write this review, but was reminded of the garlic saturated food after I had used the restroom the day after.I hope their other items are better.

Friendly, welcoming service. The best family-run pizzeria in New Jersey. Coming from Brooklyn, I can say you can still get authentic New York-style pizza in NJ at Luigi's. It is not bland, it is the best pizza in NJ. The slices are bigger than anywhere and a reasonable price. Restaurant and delivery are both fine. Give them a try any time you are in the area. It's easy to reach off Route 9. Luigi, his family and staff have wonderful customer service.Parking: Plenty of parking in lot shared with bank and CVSWheelchair accessibility: Ramp from parking lot into ground floor
