The food was really very good. But then I bit down on a piece of plastic - Ouch! I ordered the veggie soup and as described it was a perfect herbal blend. Unfortunately, I bit down on something hard and it turned out to be a piece of plastic. Please be more careful when preparing orders!

Recently stopped in here with high expectations, but left feeling pretty disappointed.
The pear salad with grilled chicken was underwhelming and expensive, the eggplant parm was drowning in sauce, and the square pizza was like 80% bread. Prices were also pretty damn expensive ($12 for a slice of cheesecake).
Restaurant front house staff kept apologizing for keeping the door open because apparently the oven gets so hot that it becomes unbearable. We didn't feel it was too cold, but I guess that depends on the night.
Overall, I think the prices are way overtuned, especially considering the sheer quantity of other Italian places nearby.

I typically don’t review restaurants but the food and service was excellent, making it very hard for me to not comment and put it out there. I ordered a catering service for an at home event—roughly 20 people and let me tell you, my guests and I were pleased with the quality and portions. Viasposito’s did not disappoint. As a first time customer, Anthony the owner was very generous with the portions and assured me the food would be enough for my party of 20–even went out of his way to pack a little extra for us. Our guests all asked where the food came from and I proudly shared the details. No way I am ever cooking for a medium sized event like the one I held—ordering from them again for sure. 10/10 recommend!

I wanted to love this place. We ate outside in Red Bank and while the service was polite and welcoming, the food was far from it. I ordered a 20 oz ribeye steak special Medium rare for $50.00 and it came out as a 12 oz strip steak, but was cooked Raw as raw can be. I politely asked for the steak to be cooked more and it came back out just as raw, but this time a little warm out the outside. I mentioned to my server that they should change the name of the steak on the special sheet because it’s not a ribeye, and she told me “oh it’s 100 percent a ribeye” Being in the restaurant business for years, it wasn’t not the right cut of steak, but she most likely didn’t know any better. My wife enjoyed her food and my sons meatballs were okay. I really wish a manager would have come over to talk to me about the steak situation instead of leaving it up to the young server to deal with.

Via Sposito never disappoints! We go here all the time and the food is consistently great. This time we had the chicken parm in vodka sauce—absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. We also tried the American cheesecake for dessert, and it was the perfect sweet ending to the meal.
The place is always packed, which says a lot about how good it is. You can walk in, but I’d definitely recommend calling ahead or making a reservation if you can. One of our favorite local spots—highly recommend!

Overall good food, good taste. But luck of the draw on the clams that where in the linguine and clam sauce, after eating it was sick as a dog for 3 days. It is what it is. Curious how fresh or old the clams where??

Good was great but don't understand ordered 3 appetizers they were great but came out extremely to fast. Ordered dinners with the family not even 5 minutes later they were out like to givectime to digest. They didn't have sangria as advertised.
