I went to Aurora for a surprise birthday party. The food was fantastic. I had assorted family style appetizers including eggplant rollatini, calamari, tomatoes with mozzarella, Aurora chips and more. My entree was penne pasta with vodka sauce and a side of vegetables. There was also an array of deserts served family style. The only think that could be better was the acoustics. Sound baffles would help. Overall I would still rate the food, service and atmosphere as excellent. Bob Vetter

The restaurant is a simple modern style, and the staff are friendly and polite. The chicken is crispy and tender, the pasta is springy and chewy, and the lamb leg is juicy and tender, all perfectly paired with red wine. The desserts are also delicious. Overall, from the meal to the desserts, the experience was romantic and Pleasant.

We were very lucky to have had Bucky as our server this past Saturday evening for dinner at Aurora's in Old Tappan, NJ. Bucky was attentive, knowledgeable, and understanding. Even though it was a Saturday evening, and the restaurant was busy, we never felt rushed. We enjoyed our appetizers, entrees, and dessert. I highly recommend the Aurora Chips, Margherita Pizza, Pork Chop Milanese, and their homemade Tiramisu. Overall, my aunt and I had a lovely dining experience. Looking forward to our next meal at Aurora's very soon.
Outstanding as usual. Bartender Era makes perfect drinks. The food is phenomenal and the staff caters to me as a regular. 5 stars.

Absolutely incredible! The waiters were very attentive and recommended the best dishes from the menu. The place is amazing, with a super harmonious atmosphere and a lovely classic touch. When I tasted the food, it felt just like eating at home it brought back so many memories. The price is truly worth what you eat. I’ll definitely come back as many times as I can. Highly recommended!

Invited a dear couple because we enjoyed it before. However, this time they charged for hot water, and a refill of hot water. No mention of it, just charged. When asked why, the servers responded the money goes to our boss. In other words the boss makes the decision to charge for hot water. Sad that I won't be inviting my friends or coming back unless they change this policy.
Update 11/2 the owner called me to apologized for what had happened and wanted to make it up to me. Appreciate his responsiveness. So I change it to a 5 for service, I hope and believe this will not happen again.
