Love this DQ! The new shop is fantastic-always so clean and the staff so friendly and helpful! I’ve been coming for here for years and they’ve never let me down..not with the ice cream OR their cakes. Keep up the great work!

The ice cream here is great and the staff at this Dairy Queen always work hard to deliver excellent service. They always go above and beyond and will work hard to accommodate special requests. I have never had an issue here except with other customers who do not understand how a busy ice cream business is run. Also, be sure to check out their specials when available as they really are delicious!

We are following up to clarify factual discrepancies in your response regarding our experience at your Dairy Queen on Wednesday night.

Our group entered at 9:50 p.m., which is ten minutes prior to the posted closing time of 10:00 p.m. Two of us intended to order from the beginning. Another customer placed an ice cream order before us at approximately 9:55 p.m., which was accepted without hesitation — indicating that your equipment was functioning and orders were still being accepted.

When I attempted to place my order at 9:57 p.m., I was met with silence and a dismissive expression. The employee then started walking away with no further explanation or clarification and did not ring up my order on the register, to which I asked if the machine was broken. The employee answered with a dismissive “no, we are closing”, leaving no confirmation at all of whether the order would actually be made or not.
Despite the lack of confirmation, a Blizzard was ultimately made and handed to me before 10:00 p.m., which confirms that my order was both feasible and fulfilled within operating hours. During this interaction, another employee (while the Blizzard was being made without anyone’s knowledge or explicit confirmation) asked if our group wanted to order, indicating lack of communication between the staff themselves as a result of the first employee not ringing up the order on the register.

Additionally, your implication that the rest of our group “chose not to order” is disingenuous. One of our group members abandoned their item from the fridge due to the negative atmosphere created by the staff, which was a direct result of the experience and not a decision made beforehand. Was it truly so confusing that one person ordered while another changed their mind after being treated rudely?

If your policy is that certain customers can’t place orders at 9:57 whereas staff easily accept the orders of other customers at 9:55, then your signage should reflect that expectation. Or, was the experience targeted, considering how your staff were condescending and refused to provide verbal confirmation of whether they were able to fulfill the order only for our group specifically? If staff were unable to take our order at that time, the employee should have clarified that instead of dismissively walking away.
We hope this helps clarify what actually happened, and encourages a closer review of both your tone and standards of service during all hours of operation, even the last ten minutes.

Very very disrespectful employees with no class. Decided to close early and gave dirty looks when it came to ordering. The employee working there said that “We are closing” when we gave them our order. No plans on returning to this location in the future. The chairs were up way before closing time. Looks like management can’t train their employees properly and can’t hire people with decency!

The BEST place around to get ice cream cakes for ANY occasion! Have ordered cakes for family christenings, birthdays, Mother’s Day, holidays, and cakes just because and each time it was a 10/10! Cannot say enough great things about this location and the quality of their treats!
